Trump Administration Locks In Final $93M in Ukraine Military Aid

https://www.kyivpost.com/post/85453

The Trump administration has made legally binding commitments to spend nearly all of the $400 million Congress approved for Ukraine, preventing the funds from expiring at the end of September.

The Trump administration plans to obligate the remaining $93 million in military aid for Ukraine before the Sept. 30 fiscal-year deadline, ensuring that nearly all of the $400 million approved by Congress late last year remains available for Kyiv, according to Reuters.

As of early this week, Washington had already obligated $307 million from the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, or USAI. The administration now plans to formally commit the remaining $93 million before the money expires.
