Really good, I appreciate that he went with a retro song. His voice sounds great on it and it's really catchy. Seungri honestly has such an underrated solo discography and this is yet another fine addition to it.

I was totally expecting a Great Gatsby/1920s concept but we got the 50s instead! It’s a nice surprise though. And I love how upbeat this song is! I can’t wait to see the full choreo.

As far as I could tell one of the lense flare effects hid a morph transition before the duo dance scene in the small room with mirrors, and there were sneaky cuts at other parts too. So it's not one take.

There's a jolty-looking movement at 0:52 just when the flare is at its strongest and no other person is in the frame, and the wrinkles in his clothes and his facial expression change slightly.

No, I just find it interesting trying to notice the cuts in scenes that look like one-takes but are not.
I recommend Birdman for fun obfuscated cuts.

You can totally tell - there are a few times in the MV where I was hit with some Travolta vibes hard (I mean, more than the outfit or movie references). He got the expressions and movements down pat! It's so good, goddamn. <3

I saw Seungri at a grocery store yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Wow, Seungri sounds great here! I'm not the biggest fan of his vocals in his previous solo tracks, but I'm really digging his voice this time around. Chorus feels a bit muted but fun song regardless.
Love that they included bloopers lmao.

SEUNGRI's "1, 2, 3!" is a comeback that delivers in such a way that I can't help but feel like the wait was well worth the while. Even though I don't particularly think that the song itself is all that catchy, there's an undeniable atmosphere of inspirational, whimsical delight that is so compelling and engaging that I find myself having to recommend this music video anyway. If you haven't done so already, seriously, go give this one a watch. No ifs, ands, or buts. Do it!
Seriously this is easily one of the most intelligently directed and charming videos that K-pop has to offer. I don't mean just from this year, I mean in all of my years of watching K-pop. This is the definition of creativity and the embodiment of a passion that I jealously adore.

I just finished listening to the whole album, and while there was some there definitely wasn't as much EDM there as I expected either (also, the album is solid, I really like Love is You and Mollado so far)

I smiled throughout this, that is one feel-good bop and video! DanceRi is BACK ladies and gentlemen! Ah, this was so happy and cute and well executed with the one-take
I'll definitely have to watch this a couple hundred more times to catch everything that was going on, suddenly Ri was wearing a sparkly jacket and I didn't even notice him changing into it haha, and a gazillion other things I noticed but didn't have time to process
I'm so happy right now, I hope this does well and that his upcoming tour is a success, he earned this and the album is really nice, the man's an entertainer through and through - I esp recommend Love is You, it really stood out to me on a first listen

Ah, I love it. I was afraid I wouldn't; Seungri can be A LOT and I haven't loved most of this year's YG title tracks.
I love the one shot, I love the song, I love that she's taller than he is (for some reason this makes me so happy, maybe because I'm 5'11"), I love the freeze ending when the song ends.

Yeah I'm not at all sure why this got blasted. I thought it was a fairly universally accepted truth that a ton of kpop artists put on a different voice for different purposes. SHINee Key sounds so different in musicals or his solo features than he does in 90% of SHINee songs where he really plays up the harshness.
Raina even demonstrated the difference between her singing for Orange Caramel, After School, and her solo work.

I love everything about this. The music of course (Teddy produced so many bops that's insane); the retro style set in such a clean and fun one/long take (we need more of those in kpop MVs that are so often full of cuts); and the choreo which fits the chorus so perfectly and makes me want to join and dance along (a feat it itself).

I think this album well-portrayed who Seung Ri really is! I could instantly tell how much he has made progress musically and how much he has just matured and grown as a person. His composition skills really impressed me as well. I personally felt that this album wasn't made for the purpose of topping the charts (although I think they are fantastic and deserve it)-- instead of mainstream kpop tunes, you could really sense seungri's vibes and personality throughout the whole album. With rest of the bigbang members in military, I'm so proud of him to carry on that legacy on his shoulders, and I really hope that he receives all the attention he deserves! Having watched bigbang since they were so young, I'm just crazy proud to see how far they've come and I can't wait to see the amazing things they do next!

Wow I LOVE this, honestly I wasn’t sure what I expected from Seungri, mainly because it’s been years since his last solo releases so I was a bit nervous to see what direction he would go but damn I really like this song, very easy to listen to, catchy beat, also sounds very fresh and new, love it. Also the MV was very enjoyable to watch as something new happened all the time and not to mention that it was a one cut, very well done.
Now time to listen to the rest of the album, so far so good!

I loved the video. The 50s aesthetic was awesome, and is something Seungri likes a lot. Was the video done in one take or were there cuts? I was watching for cuts and couldn't see any. If it was one take - kudos to Seungri for nailing it!! The outtakes at the end were hilarious.
The song was good; it's something I can move to. I am not sure about the choral noises... That sort of stuff, I think, is not going to age well. But overall it was a good song. Now to buy the album and give that a listen.

There really is no substitute for over 10 years of stage experience. There are plenty of rookie/newer idols that I think can pull off being cool or charismatic, but in videos from "senior" idols there's really something more that comes through.

The song's really catchy and the video is fun (as well as impressively well made). I have to admit I'm a little dissapointed with the vocals. I think Seungri's voice sounds strained, which seems weird to me. Oh well.
I miss BigBang, though :( It's going to be a long three year wait (hopefully no more than that).

I really liked the credits at the end, seeing all of the people that went into making a 3 1/2 minute video the dancers, the cameramen, the stylists, the mixing engineers, and the marketing team.
