One of the most underrated actors of our time. Never seen him in anything that he wasn't good. I feel like he never took himself too seriously as to refuse to accept smaller roles, or even bit parts. A fine actor

I think he's said in interviews that he really only cares about characters that interest him personally. Paychecks aren't what drives him.

To be fair, he openly admitted that he did Stargate for the paycheck.

Fair, but that was still kinda early in his career. And alien Egyptian gods were cool.
