Drown Next To Me is up there with Gonzo as their best songs.

KITS was a great album, but it’s undoubtedly their least successful. Of course, an experimental album like this is bound to be less successful than the classics, but I think its biggest fault was its weak singles. Walk over me was good, but not great. Heartbeat Slowing Down/Kids In The Street are both very slow and somber, which makes them very strong as tracks but lackluster as singles. Someday’s gone was a good choice for a single, but as good as it is it’s not good enough to match up with the ones on their top 10. And beekeeper’s daughter is just very generic. It’s a fun listen for sure, but it’s definitely not a good choice to represent the album. This isn’t to say that none of those songs should’ve been singles at all, I just feel that none of them really have what it takes to be a lead single. Fast and slow is an absolute masterpiece of a song, a track that’s undoubtably better than every other song on the album, a throne that can only be threatened by Gonzo(but gonzo is definitely not single material). It’s catchy without sacrificing uniqueness and quality, creative, and driving. Hell, even Taylor Swift endorsed it. I’m not saying Taylor Swift makes good music or anything, but someone that famous knows a good song with potential when they hear one. I really think the record label screwed the album with this one. What do You think?

5: AP magazines. Not sure if there are scans of these online but I can share the insides if anyone is interested.

7: A few ticket stubs. I have more in a frame with ticket stubs from other bands. Signed laminate - Chris was not able to make this meet & greet.

8: Signed Zune mp3 player (kind of like an iPod) that I won in a Twitter livestream contest. I have videos of the guys announcing I won. Tyson totally butchered my name and Nick remembered me lol

9: Tag from Butter (Tyson’s short-lived clothing line), Soundcheck Party entry sticker thing (Tournado tour, 2006), mini magazine from Warped 2010 signed by Nick and Tyson.

10: CDs (two of them signed). My self-titled CD disappeared at some point and I haven’t bought the new one.

11: Setlist from Warped 2010. That “I <3 Nick” paper was stuck onto the setlist when I caught it, not sure who wrote that.

12: Poster from a tour with Taking Back Sunday.

13: More signed posters. This was from when WTWCD came out.

14: Another random WTWCD promo poster. The other one was from when they played at my college with Cobra Starship. I figured out the voting system allowed for unlimited votes so I’d like to believe my 1000s of votes got them booked 😆

15: Tournado zine type of thing. This thing is super cool! Not sure if there are scans of this online either but I’d love to share. I do not remember where I got this tbh.

19: One of my weirdest promo items - a mousepad. I kept it in a box for years and finally started using it for work recently.

I’m sure I have even more - I can share if I find anything else! I also have pictures from throughout the years I can definitely share. I’ve been to 17 shows and met them all quite a few times. They’re all super nice guys.

Curious if there are young/new fans here. I’ve been a fan since 2005 (I’m 33 now) and I’ve noticed a lot of other bands from the era have gained a new following of young fans (MCR, FOB, P!ATD, etc.) but I wasn’t sure if AAR did too.

I have so much “memorabilia” and photos from 2006-now and I’m wondering if it’s worth sharing some of it. I was a “toastie” on the message board back in the day.

Another incredible year of Sea Hear Now in the books! While I only went to Day 1 of Dabny Clinch's music festival in Asbury Park this year (Sept. 19, 2026), sets from Mumford & Sons, the Offspring, Shaggy, All American Rejects, Fitz and the Tantrums, and Jarod Clemons (along with special appearances from Jake Clemons and the Ocean Avenue Stompers through out the day) showed why Sea Hear Now is my all-time favorite festival to attend.
