Google is doing this because the EU isn't enforcing the letter of the law in the DMA with Apple and instead allowing Apple to restrict access to OS features in the name of "user security" which is bullshit.

Google just looked at that and went "yes please".

Somehow it’s always Apple’s fault. Google apparently has no autonomy.

I didn't say or imply that.

Yes you did. Can you not read what you wrote?

Google is doing this because... of the law in the DMA with Apple

There was ZERO reason to bring up Apple.

No I didn't. Can you not understand basic logic?

Mentioning something or someone in an example does not mean you are blaming them. The only inferred blame that can be taken from my comment is blame for government (specifically the EU as they are mentioned, but that would be utterly unfair considering that basically every other government have done even less) and Google.

"Jake stole because he saw Michael steal and not get punished."

Does not mean you are blaming Michael for Jake stealing...your logic skills are terrible.

No, he's saying one corporate entity was not punished for doing something unjust to its customers. So other corporate entity rubs hands together and says yes I can get away with doing the same evil thing to my customers.
