Niagara has ruined my impulse to theme anything other than a wallpaper and icons, but I think I've finally found something novel and creative within the boilerplate Niagara layout we've seen a million times.

Niagara has pretty bad text clarity on a lot of brighter and contrasty wallpapers so I've wanted something like this for a long time.

This is a pretty thrown together glass/blurred island for the favorites to live on made with KLWP. It's mainly a proof of concept and not plug and play as all the values are fixed for my display and settings. I also turned off app notifications on the homesscreen so everything stays the same size.

I'll prob keep working on this, but I'd like to see if someone more experienced with KLWP can make a more complete and polished version of this.

Hi everyone! Some of you may remember One4Widgets from earlier posts, back when it was "just" a big collection of widgets. This is the biggest update since then: the app now has **Studio, a full widget maker**.

**Build your own widget**

- Start from an empty canvas or edit one of the ready-made designs

- Layers and groups: text, shapes, icons, images, rings, progress bars, charts, lists

- Live data on any layer: time, date, weather, hourly and daily forecast, calendar agenda, next alarm, music, battery, steps and more

- Fonts (including your own), colors, gradients, shadows, glass and acrylic

- Animated GIF and short video backgrounds

- Smart guides and snapping, undo/redo, and responsive layouts for different widget sizes

- Import and share designs as widget packs

**Or just pick one of 500+ ready-made widgets**

Clocks, weather, calendar, music, battery, health, notes, habits, search bars… Each one can be restyled (colors, fonts, background, corners), and every part is tappable: the clock opens your alarms, the weather opens your forecast.

The app is free on Google Play, with a Pro upgrade for the advanced stuff. It's available in 11 languages.

I'm a solo dev and I read every comment. Tell me what widget you'd build first, or what's missing, and I'll add it.

Every element on these home screens is text: labels, fonts, colors and one gesture box on a solid background. No wallpaper, no icons, no images.

- **Stratagem Pad**: a Helldivers-inspired input terminal. The gesture box takes arrow swipes, so launching an app feels like calling in a stratagem.

- **Vault Terminal**: a green phosphor, Pip-boy-style readout. HP is your battery and CARRY is free storage.

- **Boarding Pass**: a paper ticket. GATE is your battery and the barcode is today's date.

The clock, date, battery and storage are live, and status lines like RESUPPLY or STIMPAK ACTIVE only show up while you're charging. Every label can be changed, and there are plenty of other dynamic types (calendar, music, countdowns, notifications). Regular wallpapers and gesture box images or animated GIFs still work too. This round I just wanted to see how far text alone could go.

They're made in CheatCode Launcher, where you open apps by swiping short codes into that box instead of tapping icons.

Each look is one theme file you can import, or share as a code you paste in:

- [Stratagem Pad](https://cheatcodelauncher.com/setups/stratagem-pad)

- [Vault Terminal](https://cheatcodelauncher.com/setups/vault-terminal)

- [Boarding Pass](https://cheatcodelauncher.com/setups/boarding-pass)

Importing themes needs Lifetime. I have some Lifetime promo codes for anyone who wants to try these: comment which one you'd run and I'll DM you a code. If you try it, I'd love to hear what works and what doesn't. If you check it out, please consider leaving a review!

Hi all. I'm a developer in Perth, Australia, and I made this launcher. I'd really value feedback from people who care about their home screens.

Why I built it

I used to manage teams across Australia, India, Europe and the US. I didn't have a separate work phone, so messages arrived at all hours and I found it hard to switch off.

I wanted my phone to feel calmer without giving up the things I actually use. During work hours, I didn't want social media or other non-work apps pulling at my attention. In the evenings, I wanted work out of sight so I could spend proper time with my family.

I couldn't set my phone up that way, so I built a launcher that could. That's where Spaces, folders and group notifications came from: one layout for work, another for home and one for travel. You can be as imaginative as you like.

I also wanted the rest of the phone to feel good to use. That meant an app drawer built around large, clean type instead of a grid of icons, with animations that make moving around feel smooth rather than busy. It also meant folders that let me keep each part of my life in its own place: work, social, entertainment and everything else.

What's different

• Spaces: named home screen layouts for different parts of your day. One can be a single clock and another can be full of widgets. Plus they can change dynamically.
• Automatic switching: Spaces can change on their own based on where you are (GPS, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth) or the time of day.
• Folders: group apps by the parts of your life they belong to, such as work, family or travel, so the home screen stays tidy and everything is still one tap away.
• Type and motion first: large, clean type and smooth transitions, including a full-width app drawer in 1 or 2 columns.
• Free placement: put widgets and icons anywhere and resize them, in portrait and landscape. Works on phones, tablets and foldables.
• Stackable widgets and icon pack support.

Free vs Pro The free version is the full launcher, not a trial. It includes one Space, stackable widgets, free placement, icon packs, app drawer options and a basic clock widget. There are no ads and no pop-ups nagging you to upgrade. Pro adds weather, media and calendar cards, dial and arc clocks, notification pills and grouping, status bar settings, unlimited Spaces and location-based switching.

PRO lifetime is currently 70% off.

What I'm after Honest feedback: what feels off, what's missing, and what breaks on your device. I'm reading every comment and will fix what I can.

Hi everyone, I’m the developer of AuraLook, and I just released v1.7.

What is AuraLook?

Most Android phones don’t wake the screen for new notifications, and an AOD is often too subtle to notice them. AuraLook shows each incoming notification full screen when your screen is off, so you can catch it at a glance. It’s inspired by the iOS jailbreak tweak ShortLook.

This is NOT an AOD app, it is triggered only when a new notification arrives and your screen is off. You can use this with or without your AOD.

What’s new in 1.7:

Until now it focused on one notification at a time. v1.7 changes that.

• Notification count: shows how many notifications you’ve received in a row from the same app.
• Notification Strip: an optional row of app icons for notifications still sitting in your tray. You can enable this in Customization.
• New Gestures (Pro): swipe left or right to browse through those notifications.
• Reminders (experimental): a soft glance at set intervals for notifications you missed. You’ll find it under Advanced Settings → Experimental.

I’m not sure if Reminders work reliably on every device, which is why it’s experimental. If you try it, please tell me how it goes, including your device model and Android version.

Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.auralook

A huge thanks to everyone who supported AuraLook in the early days. I couldn’t have come this far without you!

Hi Everyone!

I've been posting and getting some really great feedback lately and wanted to take the opportunity to share Meridian with more folks!

I've got plenty of codes to send out if anyone wants to try it, I'll happily DM a promo code over!

For anyone interested here is a quick list of recent updates/improvements since last week:

New

• Redesigned Manage screens: the neighboring screens peek in, you swipe or tap between them, and the home screen has a badge
• Smoother space switching, with no flash and the space's name shown as a small pill
• Widget stacks can now swipe up and down, like on iPhone
• Icon pack picker shows a preview icon for each pack
• Orbit aims more steadily, folders can open on a hold, any icon can go on the circle, and the editor can build an example orbit from your apps
• Reworked search: smarter ranking, matched letters highlighted, type a number to call or text it, contact photos and app shortcuts in results
• Seven new languages: Spanish, Portuguese (BR), German, French, Russian, Hindi and Indonesian
• Easier home screen editing: bigger resize handles, undo when you remove things, clearer settings

Fixed

• App drawer crash after quick changes
• Widget stacks going back to their first widget after a restart
• Gallery photos set as icons not sticking
• Search flicker, drawer tab labels running to the edges, and icon style carrying over between spaces

EDIT: I've hit the limit on the amount of DM's reddit will let me send! I can still receive them however it seems, send me a direct message or join discord and send Pterodactyl a message and we'll continue to hand out codes!

EDIT 2:

Thanks to everyone for being involved today, it's been a much crazier day than expected and I had no idea so many people would be this excited about Meridian. I have some more codes generated that I'm more than happy to give out, however, google won't make them effective until sometime tomorrow afternoon. I really appreciate all the feedback, all the love and attention this has gotten. Again, thank you so much <3. For those of you who still want a code but may not have gotten one yet, Meridian is and always will be free on meridian-launcher.com. Please check it out there and as codes are available, I will provide them! Thanks for making this awesome already. I love you all.

EDIT 3: I'm slap out of promo codes at this point. Thanks everyone to the interest and I still encourage you to join our discord community as the launcher updates are made free there!

I'm a solo dev. I've been building *brute for about a year: a minimal, monochrome launcher built around a tile grid. I started it because it's what I wanted my own phone to look like. It just came out of open beta onto the Play Store properly.

What it does:

• Monochrome home screen with a tile grid, organised into groups
• Supertiles (live tiles for weather, clock, music, battery, calendar, storage, etc.)
• Deep theming: custom fonts, accent colors, corner radius, blur, wallpapers, and day/night palettes. Export your setup as a file and share it
• A dedicated deck page for normal Android widgets
• Built-in RSS reader with a clean article view and on-device translation
• Universal search: apps, contacts, settings, and the web in one bar
• Screen time stats per app
• Option to force any app into greyscale
• A countdown delay screen before launching apps you tend to waste time on

Good to know:

• Free core experience. There's a one-time unlock for extra features (supertiles and custom theme importing). The base launcher is free and always will be.
• Privacy-first: no analytics, no accounts, no ads. It only accesses the network for weather and RSS. Translation runs on-device; contacts and calendar never leave your phone.
• Weather runs via Open-Meteo (no API keys, no tracking).
• Built with AI assistance alongside direct development, tested daily on my primary phone for months and with a testing group of 40 users.

Known limits:

• English only for now (more languages are planned).
• The theme store is currently in beta.

Giveaway:

I'm giving away 40 Pro unlock codes. Drop a comment below and I'll DM a code to the first 40 people.

If you end up enjoying it, a quick rating or review on the Play Store means the world to an independent dev.

Hello all! Mal3auto here!

I don't have any fancy professional grade videos or screenshots to share. I'm just a single guy with a passion for this app!

A little history:

Lightning Launcher is an "old" homescreen customization app developed by Pierre Hebert. It was targeted at power users looking for extreme customization featuring infinite layouts and scripting capabilities. This is a broad description as LL offers so much more! Some time in the 2000-teens, it lost maintainership and eventually was delisted from the Play Store. Thereafter, it was made open source where a handful of community members made effort to keep it compatible with modern Android and keep the app usable. Ultimately it was abandoned and the website that supported community and documentation was sold. The last time that LL got any real attention was around 2018.

And now today:

I have since picked up maintaining the launcher. I have spent the last 6 months developing new features and updating the code base to be compatible with today's Android. It has been a journey to say the least. But the app is once again available on the play store. I have sourced and forged documentation that is now available in app and started a discord community for it. We have plenty of veteran users and newcomers. The Revival is in full swing.

Whether you're a veteran or you've never heard of LL, nows the time to be excited. The app offers an unparalleled experience for power users.

If interested, you can download the app here:

Hi everyone, I'm Sully, the creator of Tree Launcher.

Tree Launcher organizes your home screen as a tree, with apps alongside notes, tasks, reminders, links, and contacts. Everything is organized by context, with nested pages and search across the whole tree. It’s not trying to replace Notion. Keep the little things you need throughout the day within reach, not scattered across many different apps.

The latest update is all about making it easier to try out new looks. Themes bring your colours, fonts, icons, layout, home header, and background together. Start with a preset or your current setup, tweak everything in a full-screen editor, then save and share your favourites. Switch between them with a tap.

There’s also a built-in icon engine for creating different icon styles without an icon pack, though those are still supported. And, you can customize headers on every page, with extra layouts and styling options for Home without relying on widgets.

Everything is stored locally, works offline, and requires no account. There’s an optional Google Drive backup you control.

It’s just me building something I use every day. I’d love your feedback on the new looks and how the productivity features fit into your home screen. What would you like to see changed?
