Guren no Yumiya was a surprise at the end and caught everyone off guard. Fair to say everyone loved that surprise 😂

So we all saw the new tesla and how it used air to redirect mid air, specifically a car which is heavy. So if it were only a human then it should propel much further which could be used for odm gear which is the missing piece for making one since that was the part isayama made fantastical for it to be harder to replicate irl

Round 1: Middle east alliance soldier spared Gabi because she is a kid. She killed him.

Round 2: Sasha spared Gabi because she is a kid. She killed her.

Round 3: Lobov spared Gabi because she is a kid. She killed him.

Just curious and would like to see the discussion on this subject. Here are my picks for the strongest.
Miche is commonly regarded as the strongest, only 2nd to Levi. Jean is the most skilled ODM gear user in the 104th Cadet Corps; it is also safe to assume that his ability with the gear is even better in later seasons. Oruo is a dark horse in this debate; when the character is introduced, he is 19 years of age and claims to have 39 solo kills (though this claim could most likely be false).

I don't mean in terms of pure strength, obviously the cart Titan is one of the weaker of the nine. But in terms of maximizing their strengths, I think Pieck uses her abilities the best.

I definitely feel like the Eren one turned out better but I’m better at close ups than stuff at more of a distance. I haven’t been drawing that long yet so I definitely still have a long way to go but I’m more or less satisfied with how these turned out.

Got this like a year ago, thought I should post it.

Lately, I've seen a lot of videos on whether the modern military can defeat the Rumbling, and the common consensus is that they can do it, even easily. But that is exactly the whole catalyst for AOT.

In the beginning of ss4, we see Theo Magath as well as other generals discuss the future of Titan-based warfare, and came to the conclusion that they need to retrieve The Founding Titan, because of the development of airplane and modern weaponry. That is also the case when we put the Rumbling and modern warfare against each other: the titans have virtually no way of damaging flying vehicles, beside Zeke and arrows from the Warhammer Titans.

But I think that Isayama intended to make it clear: that is a part of humanity. Think about it: Titans used to be almost a force of nature to the normal person. With conventional weapons at the time (arrows, spears, and swords), they cannot defeat a single titans without difficulites. Then, either humanity learn how to overcome their weakness (ODM Gear) or harness the power of that force (Titan Horde strategy from Marley). After a time of dominance, that weapon fades to obsolescence because of the advancements in stronger, better weapons. That's why war will never stop. One can eradicate all Titans, but cannot eradicate ALL weapons. Even without steel or machinery, people will punch and kick each other, before one realized that using a wooden stick gives them unfair advantages, and the whole cycle begins once again.

Decided to paint the attack titan a couple of months back, first time trying oil but I like it. Not entirely done because I ran out of white 🤣

A complaint I keep seeing is that Annie didn't get punished enough compared to Reiner after coming out of the crystal. But Annie completely shut down emotionally just to survive her abusive childhood.

Unlike Reiner who wanted glory or Bertholdt who just followed orders, Annie never cared about Marley, Eldia or the Warrior cause. She only cared about surviving long enough to get back to her adoptive dad the one person who finally apologized for treating her like a weapon.

Trapped in that crystal for four years, she had to sit in pitch black silence with nothing but her own mind. Expecting some big villain punishment arc misses who she actually is: a child soldier who realized early on how messed up the world was. (Even if she was doing way too much to the Survey Corps in Season 1 😭)

I really love these panels at the end of S3. They really showed hope before everything went downhill.

I could not find a single intelligent answer to this question like after eren transformed his life force/consciousness was basically transferred to his head since gabi shot it off but I saw a lot of people mentioning his body was not even connected to the founding titan really in the manga and the source of all living matter just escaped from it. so logically what do we think happened with it/where did it end up.

I would say it is very complex.

No Vinyl for Symphony from Paradis

It was great overall. I really enjoyed it, but I'm also someone who can't help but point out weaknesses, so:

Songs I wished were played but weren't

• Barricades and Bauklotze
  • Understandable omissions given the necessity of singers, but I would've loved to hear them.
• The Female Titan theme (whose full name is impossible to remember)
  • They used Apetitan when showing The Female Titan scenes in which her theme is played. I would've had the actual Female Titan theme for them. They should've used Apetitan for Levi, Erwin and the rookies vs the Beast Titan in Return to Shiganshina, especially since Apetitan is known from Erwin''s speech.
  • They also skipped over Annie's reveal and almost everything with her in Season 1. They had a whole section showing Zeke's entire backstory and character arc whilst playing Guilty Hero, so I would've had the same for Annie but with the Female Titan theme.
• attack on Taian [TSFV]
  • This is the epic version of the signature Attack on Titan song, that plays when The Rumbling arrives at Marley. They did play the actual Attack on Titan, but they also played both YouSeeBigGirl and Attack on D, so playing remixes of the same song was not out of the question. I would've liked to see it in the final scene of the Final Season Part 2, though they used Footsteps of Doom for that.
• An Ordinary Day
  • This one I don't get. I think this song is very iconic, in a very iconic scene that if I remember correctly was basically entirely skipped. Eren rumbling Marley and Ramzi and reaching freedom is such an iconic and importance scene, and An Ordinary Day is a huge part of why it's so eerie/tragic. They passed over both. Perhaps, they thought it'd be too repetitive after all the other Rumbling scenes with Footsteps of Doom, but I would've liked to see it.
• Liar
  • This one is entirely personal preference, and I understand that other people may see things differently. Liar I think is just a great song, in a great scene, and I wanted it.
• Every other opening besides OP 1 and OP 3
  • They played Guren no Yumiya and Shinzou wo Sasageyo, which makes sense, the 2 most iconic ones. But as someone who loves literally every opening (including Saigo no Kyojin that literally no one talks about), I wanted all of em. Yes I am greedy, but instead of playing the full versions of the 2 openings they played, they should've done the TV sized versions of all of em interspersed throughout. Granted, like Barricades and Bauklotze, I get the difficulty of doing energetic songs that have very prominent lyrics in an orchestra, but if they could do Guren no Yumiya they could do all of them.

I saw some people complain about Apple Seed, but they played both YouSeeBigGirl and Attack on D. I think it would've been utterly repetitive, not to mention Apple Seed also requires actual singing.

General complaints

• The insistence on playing every song in its entirety, whilst I'm sure simpler for the orchestra, is what unfortunately led to the exclusion of the songs above that I personally would've wanted at the cost of shortening some of the songs they played.
• Overall, I think Kohta Yamamoto was lowkey shafted a bit. Hiroyuki Sawano got a whole hour, Kohta Yamamoto got 30 minutes. Hiroyuki Sawano is the undisputed king of AOT soundtracks, but Kohta Yamamoto's OSTs have such a different feel and are a big part of why The Final Season is so unique and enjoyable. I think they should've gotten some more of his songs.
• The other symphonies I've been to followed a more linear structure, with them actually progressing throught the story and playing clips from the show with audio and subtitles alongside the orchestra. I've found that really enjoyable as a way to "rewatch" the show whilst listening to them play the music in an epic fashion. This one, is a clip show with no dialogue from the actual show, which did disappoint me a bit, but perhaps that's the norm and I'm out of touch with symphonies.

But any disappointment I had went out the window when they played Attack till we are Ashes as the final song. When they finished Kohta Yamamoto's songs, I lost hope that I'd get to hear it. But after they play the 2 openings, they show the Battle of Heaven and Earth whilst playing all 6 minutes of the song, which incorporates lots of motifs/elements from the entire AoT soundtrack including the songs that were excluded. It was a good way to satisfy my desire for them, and the song overall is just brilliant and a great way to end the show.

Despite my long rant, I really did enjoy the show. All these "complaints" are nitpicks at best, but to those who were also there today, what are your thoughts?

Reiner is low key my favorite character of all media, hes so well written and i really appreciate the time he got at the beginning of season 4. Honestly before the reveal i did not care for his character whatsoever but seeing the tree scene, and then him in marley, and then his backstory, and then his conversation with Eren, its just so peak

I'm packing up from Pinball Expo 2026 in Chicago this weekend. I played what is called a "homebrew" pinball machine on the show floor. Does this community know of its existence? The game is awesome and would love to see this being made one day.
