r/BattleForDreamIsland is opening mod applications!

After the chaos of the BFDI x II 2026 tour, and immediately following that, a series of rather unfortunate events on Twitter, it’s very clear that we need some help from active members of this community!

No prior experience in moderation is required, although we would very much prefer if you moderated at least one public subreddit in the past with a decent amount of members (or even a medium to large size Discord server). 

Applicants are expected to:

• Be currently at least above the age of 13 
• Be familiar with the concept, plot and storylines of Battle For Dream Island.
• Answer each question in the attached Google Form honestly and truthfully (we accept joke answers but you will only be allowed to access the form once so keep this in mind). 
• Be familiar with every rule the subreddit has, regardless if you agree with it or not.
• Be an active and good standing member of the community.
• Have or create a Discord account for team communication purposes.

In the Google Form, you will be limited to one response per Google account, so make sure you go through this form carefully and that you’ve answered every question to the best of your ability before submitting. 

If you get accepted, you will be sent a DM on Reddit inviting you to join the moderation team. Upon acceptance, you will be given access to the modmail, the modqueue, and the ability to add/edit character flairs. Then you will be trained by a current moderator, which shouldn't take more than half an hour.

This is a very exciting time for the subreddit! If you’d like to be a part of the team for the final episodes of TPOT and basically all of IDFB, PLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASE JOIN THE TEAM PLEASEPLEASE!
