My grandma hated him. She couldn't remember family members or what year it was but she always remembered how much she hated Trump. The nurse would tell my aunt how grandma's day was by grandma's hatred for Trump. She yelled at the tv. She would throw a pillow at the tv. Or she would just yell f--k Trump. Grandma' died of covid in 2020.

It's even more sad that Trump's botched Covid response likely resulted in her death.

RIP grandma.

The fact that people quickly forgot that he is the driving force that directly resulted in such a massive amount of COVID death fucking infuriates me to no end. Literally got me having daily bouts of throwing haymakers at the air in sheer anger.

RIP grandma.

Thats why they immediately poisoned the well with conspiracy theories when COVID hit. to brainwash their base and take the blame off Trump. I remenber stories of hospital workers talking about how MAGA people would be literally dying of COVID being taken off ventilators because they no longer would keep them alive and still calling COVID a hoax.

What gets me is right wingers in USA/UK now act like the left was responsible for the covid reaction even though Trump was in charge in the USA and Boris Johnson was in charge of the UK.

Honestly that is truly insane. Especially after that audio of Woodward interviewing trump where he asked all the questions point blank and trump answered them all plainly. Trump stated exactly what the virus was, how it was transmitted, that it had 5x’s the mortality rate of the flu, and it was on its was to the US and he also made it a point to say he was going to downplay it. That was a month before he even addressed in march which we all remember. He’s directly responsible for 100’s of thousands of extra needless deaths.

Can you please link that here? That's absolutely insane.

Well said and true. Now they’ve apparently disengaged with the WHO re the Ebola outbreak. Ain’t life lovely under this administration. JFC!

Remember he said bleach would make it go away

They didn’t forget. They just don’t care. His supporters are just as morally corrupt as he is.

Yes. It went through her nursing home like a wild fire while he was saying you dont have to wear a mask. You dont have to worry. She passed away right after covid started.

My kid was 7 years old when Trump ran in 2016. The first time he saw him on TV, he said "I don't like him. He's bad and he talks mean." He figured it out in a few seconds. Seven years old. Wtf is wrong with Trump's followers that they can't see what a child sees?

They like that about him, hes a cruel, racist, selfish, ignorant asshole like they are.

20

u/Vulvas_n_Velveeta May 24 '26

You're exactly right.

That's why when people call him a racist, bigot, misogynist, felon, nazi etc.. those people don't care.

u/AncientCrust May 24 '26

My grandma also hates Trump. She's from a time where she and her family werent allowed into the same spaces as white people and recognizes him for who he is. When my aunt became a huge Trump supporter my grandma would tell me all the time that she loves my aunt, but doesn't know how she's so stupid.

My gf's 101 year old grandmother before the pandemic: "He's a jackass!"

7

u/justaphil May 24 '26

Gonna pour one out for her.

8

u/entwrangler3001 May 24 '26

My granny died from Covid too, and also thought he was pure evil.

5

u/Sufficient-Lie1406 May 24 '26

My deep condolences. She sounds like an amazing lady.

8

u/southdakotagirl May 24 '26

She was. She would always speed on the interstate and flip off the bad drivers. She wasnt afraid to speak her mind. Her last wish was She wanted to be wearing a sexy red thong when she was cremated and she wanted them to do a shot for her. The funeral home did both.

u/brownsugahbare May 25 '26

Right on, Grandma!

2

u/AffectionatePoet4586 May 26 '26

Please know that your grandma was part of a large semi-secret army of COVID-sufferers whose hatred of Trump energized their final weeks and months. Their rancor joined them to people across the nation. Their stories will never die. Be proud of her energizing rage!😡

2

u/Designer_Initial_358 May 26 '26

Holy crap! She sounds like an intuitive treasure. I love that story.

2

u/kauaiman-looking May 28 '26

😄 🤣

Your grandma is the shit!

My girlfriend and I helped our elderly neighbor out a lot.

Eventually he had to go to a nursing home. We met this adorable 97 year old woman there. Somehow she brought up Trump and called him Donald Grump 😄 🤣

0

u/frostbake May 24 '26

Wow that’s sad. The only thing the nurse could say about that woman is she was just unhappy.

u/RelativePea8217 May 24 '26

Grandma probably should have gotten vaxxed 😂
