Release Notes Bunny Trials presents: THE BIGGEST UPDATE EVER!
You asked us to fill in the two missing Bunny slots, so we decided to grant that wish. We've added over 1,400,000 new Bunny variants. That's right, over a million new Bunnies. Gotta catch 'em all, I guess.
Bunnies:
- We've scrapped the old Bunny gacha system. Instead, you now get new Bunnies by buying Chests in the Shop. The pricier the Chest, the better your odds of pulling a legendary Bunny. Legendary Bunnies come with animations, so they look, you know, legendary.
- The Bunnies tab has been replaced by a Backpack tab, where you'll find your Bunnies plus a few other handy things we'll get to later.
- We've added Bunny auctions! If you pulled a cool design you don't actually want to use, you can put it up for sale. Just pick that Bunny in your Backpack, tap it, and hit "Sell Bunny." Auctions start at a minimum of 100 carrots and run for 24 hours. Once time's up, your Bunny goes to its new owner and you get the carrots. And if you've got carrots to burn and want to snag a cool Bunny design, well, you know what to do. Going once, going twice...
- Bunnies no longer give you a carrot multiplier for your Trials. Instead, we've introduced a brand-new Bunny Pass system.
Bunny Pass:
The Bunny Pass is a new system that replaces the old Bunny rarity tiers. From now on, boosting your carrot earnings means leveling up your Bunny Pass by completing Daily Challenges, which give you EXP. The higher your Bunny Pass level, the more carrots you earn from voting on other players' Trials and from votes on your own Trials. Plus, every Bunny Pass level unlocks bonus rewards.
Chests:
You'll buy Chests in the new Shop tab. There are currently 5 types of Chests (including one Free Chest you can open once a day at no cost), and the pricier the Chest, the better the rewards. Besides standard and legendary Bunnies, Chests can also drop carrots, bonus Bunny Pass EXP, and potions. Wait, hold on, what even are potions?
Potions:
Potions are new consumable items that give you various bonuses. You get potions by buying the right Chest in the Shop, or from various bonuses like Daily Rewards or bonus codes. There are currently 4 different potions:
- Small Carrot Potion – doubles the carrots you earn from all sources for 24 hours
- Medium Carrot Potion – multiplies carrots from all sources by 5x for 24 hours
- Large Carrot Potion – multiplies carrots from all sources by 10x for 24 hours
- EXP Potion – doubles the EXP you earn from all sources for 24 hours
You can stack potions of the same type to extend the bonus duration. You can also chug a higher-tier potion, but doing so cancels your current bonus and starts the countdown over for the new one.
Daily Rewards:
Daily Rewards now hand out new goodies beyond just carrots, like EXP, Chests, and potions.
Leaderboard:
We replaced the old boring-numbers Leaderboard with something way more exciting! Now we reward the players who rack up the most votes on their Trials. You can win prizes for the most votes earned in a single day and in a single week. Heads up: only raw votes count here, Bunny Pass carrot multipliers don't apply. Leaderboard rewards go straight to your Mailbox.
Mailbox:
The Mailbox is a new system that collects all the rewards and bonuses you earn, plus Bunnies bought through auctions or carrots earned from selling your own Bunny. You have to claim every reward, and you've got 7 days to do it before it expires.
Bunny Hole:
We added so many new features that we had to redesign the Bunny Hole from scratch, your hub for all things Bunnies. You'll find all your tabs here: your carrot balance, Mailbox, Daily Rewards, and, most importantly, the Create button, which lets you make Trials posts and… drumroll please:
New post types:
Spins - this mode ditches the classic Trials format. Instead, you can add up to 4 different Spins that randomly pick from the stuff you enter. For example, you could make a "Your New Superpower" Spin with 3 options: type of power, how long it lasts, and side effect. Then the player spins for their brand new superpower! And then regrets it…
Stories - a brand new mode for building full on Choose Your Own Adventure stories, where every choice matters and leads to a different path or ending. We built an easy-to-use (and hopefully not too buggy) creator with a tree-style editor, where you decide exactly where each choice leads. You can even make the path randomized using wheels.
Wheels:
The old Wheels had too many limits, so we rebuilt them from scratch. Now you can add up to 100 different options on your wheel, and each one can be up to 50 characters long. Unlimited power!
Smaller fixes:
- You can no longer vote on your own Trials. Also, your Trials now show how many carrots you've earned from them.
- Added two new icon categories: Chests and Hats.
- Fixed some known bugs and added a few new ones
