This is a HUGE win for Freeman and the Irish. They FINALLY finished a big game, on the road no less.

Well hold on. We beat a top 5 Clemson with freaking drew pyne in his first year.

We also obliterated Caleb Williams last year.

To be fair, neither Clemson nor USC were SEC teams, where it just means moreTM

But USC sucked ass last year. I'm glad you guys embarrassed them, but they were not good.

That was a huge game at the time nonetheless. I think usc had only one loss going in

They were unbeaten but living on borrowed time. Their 2 games leading up to ND were almost gagging a game to Coach Prime and beating Arizona in OT.

Well there you go even better. That game was massive. Which I loved because Lincoln Riley got pantsed in front of a HUGE audience

Yeah we were mid last year, but Arizona were no slouches. That was a good team.

I still remember the betting line was basically a toss-up. An undefeated team vs a team that had lost 2 of 3 and nobody considered the former to be significant favorites.

But they had 5 losses by the end and looked like ass in a lot of those wins. If Texas A&M goes 6-6 I won't think this was as great of a win.

Notre Dame is the one that broke SC’s soul last year

That implies they have a soul.

Y’all should know the rules by now, but I’ll reiterate. Until your coach wins a national championship, any win against a ranked opponent means said opponent is overrated and it wasn’t actually a big game.

Good point

Pyne had an ELITE 80 yards passing

I reject the use of “finally”. Freeman has brought it on top 25 games. It’s the Stanford, Louisville, Clemson, and ugh Marshall losses you can hang on him.

Freeman has 8 wins vs top 25 teams

Not a big game.
