Honestly thought no way ND wins after A&M tied it up at 13.

Crowd was lit, ND couldn't hear our focus on offense. I figured they would be 3 and out the rest of the game.

A&M not scoring on their next possession, crowd died down, and ND made the adjustments. They looked good and tough.

A&M was flat wore out at that point.

This is a game we lose in the final minute for the past 20 years. Freeman has made major institutional and fundamental changes to the program, specifically with strength/conditioning and defense.

Honestly? Same. I expected A&M to win after they tied the game.

Ditto soon as A&M tied it up and the crowd lit up I said I’ve seen this movie before and figured we were catching the L. Freeman for all his faults has this team playing with a different mindset that I haven’t seen in a long long time

Same. I thought the crowd was going to push them over the line. A&M offense only had one player though. Pretty easy to defend against that.
