This can’t be the case, my Duke fan friend, who is so unhealthily obsessed with him that he made up a narrative that he’s an alcoholic and who’d die after his first loss, said he’d go 0-8 lmfao

Cheering for the Ags just because of him

He’s an alcoholic for buffalo wings maybe but that’s why he’s my fucking GOAT

You would be too if you moved back to College Station and could eat at Wings-n-More again. Extra crisp, extra hot, extra wet, extra garlic.

They built one in Conroe I swing by sometimes. I’m glad it’s out of the way or I might be Elko sized too

I'll root for TAMU because of him. He did what anybody would do in his shoes and wasn't given time to make the decision to leave so he could do it in the way that other fans would've liked. I'll always wonder what could've been if we stopped ND on 4th and 16 though

It stung when he left to be talks HC, but a lot of us rooted for Duke when he was there. He’s a great coach. Thanks for giving him that chance.

I just wish the whole Stoops fiasco hadn't gone down. It sucks so hard that he was told he wasn't getting the job and recommitted himself to Duke. I don't think it's possible to handle a coaching move well, but it would certainly have gone better had he been offered in the first place.

Ex Notre Dame coordinators are usually pretty good.

He is a good coach, I totally understand why he left. He is however still a bitch for how he left.

I never really get the hate. Did he ever say he’s not leaving?

Yeah kinda. When our galaxy brain AD made the offer to Stoops Elko was told it wasn't him and made a committed to Duke statement.
