Is that good? I was assured by Bulldog Twitter and the rest of the country that we were on upset alert?

Why would you even say something like that and tempt the football Gods?

Nepo baby wouldn't get the starting job at Sam Houston State if his last name was Johnson.. but he's so cool posing over them because that's the only team he can score on (thanks to his NFL-caliber O line)

Good thing he already did all those commercials...

And we’ll stay there until we play a full 4 quarters. Not taking anything away from what we’ve accomplished so far, but there’s plenty of room for improvement and that’s a great thing for a 5-0 to day.

I’d rest easy. Home Napier can spring off some big wins, but Road Napier is basically a gimme

Hey youve got to get to 4 losses somehow. Might as well add to it next week!

What? Is this a dig that we both lost to Texas last year but Florida has won this year and maybe A&M will but we dont know because the game hasn’t been played yet? Ok agreed.

A&M sleepwalked through the first half and still won by 22.

I mean, it was 7-3 at halftime. It's not like it was a blowout from the start.

There’s also a reason the game is 4 quarters long and we don’t isolate a half as if it’s representative of the whole thing

u/hells_cowbells Mississippi State • Paper Bag Oct 05 '25

The point was that it's not like we were never even in the game.

Wow. Guess it takes 5 games for the cocky fans to forget last year. MS State played a good half definitely, despite being away and facing injuries. Coach Elko made some half time adjustments it seems and it paid dividends. GG State fans, and good luck for the future games.

Same thing I was thinking. They are starting to sound more like Texas fans or something. Reminds me of the Manziel era.

Fair point.

Congrats we only doubled your score if you cut the game in half.
