Casual Ohio St fans should be ashamed

Over 5,000 hate filled comments have showed up on Ohio St kicker Jayden Fielding’s social media since last night. Fanbase should be ashamed they’re harassing one of their own, it isn’t good for the player, team, or sport. No excuse for it, touch grass. Hope the fanbase can lift up this young man in time for their next game instead of tearing him down even more.

Not surprised. To a lot of OSU fans losing to Michigan was just as big as the national title and it only took winning this year to fix it

I believe this guy and it's a shame shit like that happens.

Moving beyond the behavior of absolute shit heads and on to your comment.

I'm am 100% not being hyperbolic when I say that winning The Game this year, means as much or more to me as winning the natty last year.

Job #1 is to beat Michigan. Everything else is gravy.

I'm not the least but upset Ohio State lost yesterday. If they don't win the natty this year, I'll be disappointed because they've been the best team in the country all season and I think they're truly special this year. But ultimately, this year is a success already because they accomplished job #1.

Respect to you for admitting it. The amount of OSU fans I know who act like the loss to Michigan last year meant nothing to them is hilarious. Those same people would bring up the Michigan game 10x more than the natty too.

I disagree.

The Game still means a ton. I hate anyone downplaying it. But gtfo here acting like it's more important than a National Championship. This team not winning it all would not be a success given how good they are.

I'm not saying it's more important. I'm saying I'm equally satisfied today. If you only consider a season a success if we win a natty, then IDK what to tell you. By that measure, we've only had 3 successful seasons in my 4 decades on this planet.

And if the best program in the history of college football (if you wanna argue for Bama fine, I don't care, the point still stands) has only had 3 successful seasons in 4 decades, why bother being a fan?

Furthermore, the natty was great. But it was hollow without beating Michigan. Winning the natty this year will probably be the most satisfying season of my lifetime.

Edit: and flair up!

"Success" is relative and based on goals and expectations. When you're the defending NC and have a monster team the next year, the goal is natty or bust. It's 10/10 setting the bar as high as possible yes but that's where we are. Lots of semantics so I'll just say it would be very disappointing if we did not win the whole thing this year.

And sorry, new here. I'll do that. Go bucks.

“Fix” it lol. You mean plug a hole temporarily until the next rage inducing moment?

No. It took winning the natty last year to fix it.
