Every team Indiana played this season had a bad loss (Indiana) so obviously Indiana didn’t beat anyone good

Yep, if only they had good losses.

Alabama would have won therefore they are the theoretical National Champions

I think it's fair to rank Indiana #4 in the final poll, behind Alabama, Notre Dame, and LSU.

Fake poll - top four aren't all SEC teams followed by #5 Indiana

We need to include a top 11 so we can include one extra mediocre SEC team.

7

u/al20120184 Oregon Ducks Jan 20 '26

Can't forget about Notre Dame's contractually obligated spot in the final top 12

Fuck Notre Dame. I hope ADs stop scheduling games with them.

Notre dame would have beaten both Indiana and Alabama at the same time tho.

Indiana and Alabama at the same time is basically just Indiana

"Indiana didn't even play Indiana!"~Paul Finebaum

Jokes aside, beating Oregon 2x, Ohio St., Alabama, Purdue, and a very good Miami team is nuts

Purdue 😂

That’s the good thing about this. There is absolutely no one who can say they won because of their schedule or how the playoffs were seeded.

Someone will still say it. Probably Nick Saban

They're a buzz saw. After they beat Oregon in Autzen, and in the fashion they did, anyone trying to disrespect them or their schedule was stuck in last season. They wouldn't have beaten them in 2024. After they beat us, anyone doubting them was pure cope or our fans just being salty. And after they absolutely housed Bama and Oregon, there just was nothing left to say. They're the best team in the nation

One of those is not like the others. One is an SEC team.

They didn't even have to play any teams that won their conference!

I was going to be shocked this was true and am actually more shocked that it's not: Kennesaw State won Conference USA.

u/RukiMotomiya Jan 20 '26

Thank goodness for Kennesaw State.

INDIANA COULDN'T HANDLE THE GRIND OF AN SEC SCHEDULE PAWLLLL

7

u/Sp3ctre7 Michigan Tech Huskies • Team Chaos Jan 20 '26

Everyone they played lost to Indiana, and everyone else has transitive losses to Indiana, and no transitive wins over Indiana. The "championship" didn't even include the SEC!

Clearly the field was just weak this year, award this natty as a bonus to whoever the top-ranked SEC team in the off-season.

Just a bunch of scrubs who lost to Indiana

8

Honestly insane to me that they went Ohio state-Alabama-Oregon-Miami for the championship. Just absolute class programs at the pinnacle of the sport and also Miami. Unbelievable run.

THEY UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT

CANES MUST REMAIN TITLELESS

Didn’t they win a bunch in the 80s?

The mission is that the Canes never win anything after joining the ACC
