Let the record show that I called Mateer's game losing interception just two minutes before it happened. I know me some Midteer.

Fwiw, he was more accurate with the thumb injury than without. Remember that the next time a talking head beats the "Mateer was a Heisman frontrunner before the thumb!" dead horse again.

this is like predicting the sun will rise in the morning. Game on the line i’m always betting against Mateerception

a newborn child in an uncontacted tribe could have predicted that pick

You could’ve just said the average education of someone from Oklahoma

We wouldn't want to handicap the child that way

Mateer is the most overrated bang average QB I can remember. He was fun at Wazzu, decent at points last year, but he's kind of an idiot on the field.

That's kind of offensive to Beck

Unironically, Oklahoma probably could’ve gotten the snap off if there was one more second

When they got the ball back at 10-10: "Continuing to put it all on Mateer the rest of the way will NOT end well"

Everyone can see it except the guy getting paid to call the plays

At the game today, there were like three or four people in my section (including me) saying it was time for an interception right as that drive started. We willed it into existence.

At this point I think we all know Mateer. Pretty sure he’s just a white Bryce Underwood.

Yeah, a Texas fan definitely knows mid-tier QB'ing, what with the Ewers's, Mannings, Swoopes, Buechele, Sam-whatever, Card lineage.

You might actually be the world leader in it.
