As an insurance agent, this hurts

2

I'd love to here about people who bought cars or insurance from former cfb stars but I've never seen one.

An acquaintance of mine that moved to Idaho after college actually got his State Farm policy re-assigned to Ian Johnson after his original agent left the company!

He mentioned it didn't last that long and he switched insurance providers because State Farm sucks, but being able to say he was his insurance agent was almost enough to keep him there. He said he never actually talked to him because the only couple times he called his office he just reached one of the clerks lol

1

u/Fuzzy_dunloped Iowa Hawkeyes Sep 12 '26

Yeah, that was kinda my point. They're never in person

OU just needs another second.

I remember wanting him to play for Miami more than anything. Man is it a good thing they don’t pay my dumb ass to give any input.

Did not have a good game but our defense was getting to him constantly. Scouts are still slobbing over him and still think he's a top 20 pick

9

u/Individual_Holiday_9 Sep 12 '26

O line didn’t do him any favors today. Those holds were brutal and Michigan had him on the run constantly

u/ThatPlayWasAwful TCNJ Lions • Penn State Nittany Lions Sep 13 '26 edited Sep 13 '26

Post of the reason for the holds was the receivers couldn't get open.  Michigan won in coverage too.

Rocky Beers is a beast though

Didn't you hear, he got yoked over the Off-season not to help with football related things but for his aspirating modeling career.

1

u/itsepikk Sep 12 '26

Low iq comment. Perhaps, just maybe, Michigan's defense is actually just elite? Wait no, Michigan is supposed to suck so we can't give them credit.

You haven’t watched enough of him to realize he’s not very good. He missed several throws and played terribly. Michigan did a great job on defense, but Mateer is not good. I hope OU gives him a legitimate shot to prove himself for the rest of the season.

1

u/BaconSpinachPancakes Houston Cougars • Oklahoma Sooners Sep 12 '26

Elijah Thomas was wide open on the last drive for a TD and he throws it to Beers who has 2 men on him. He needs to be Benched. If you need someone to scramble in dire situations he may be your guy, but he almost might throw a pick 6

1

u/malcalyptus Texas Longhorns Sep 12 '26

As long as they don’t have a Caleb Williams who will come in for the second half against Texas…

0

u/RoyalPresentation841 Texas Longhorns Sep 12 '26

Flair up, coward.

1

u/BobStoops401K Oklahoma Sooners Sep 12 '26

Exactly. Michigan defense was good but Mateer is also dumb. Brother you cannot take a fucking sack with no timeouts left. So many easy overthrows. He has plenty of weapons this year but he can't complete passes

1

u/RoyalPresentation841 Texas Longhorns Sep 12 '26

He can absolutely take that sack with no timeouts left. Should he? No. But, I’m sooooooooo glad he did!

1

u/I_AM_A_GUY_AMA Oklahoma Sooners • Houston Cougars Sep 12 '26

He sucked lol. Y'all's defense is legit but he cost us the game.

-2

u/InanimateSensation Michigan Wolverines Sep 12 '26

Yeah of course he sucks now because we won
