They were comparing him to Baker before the game. No. Baker can read defenses. Baker can make throws. Baker commanded the team. Baker was physical and his pocket presence was infinitely better. He could tell when the pocket was collapsing and usually use it to his advantage.
It's definitely my recency bias, but I can't think of a more overrated QB in terms of the fanfare when he returned to action after his injury. You would've thought it was the second coming or something, but every time I watch him it's disappointing
