Still. Could be worse...

... He could be doing the same things for the Jets rn

He’d be making a lot more money in the coming years doing it for the Jets than he’s going to now lol

Fair point. He still might lol

Yeah but the jets would likely ruin any potential development at the nfl level, See Darnold, Wilson, Geno, etc

It’s not like he’s going to be drafted to a particularly good team regardless.

Maybe, if he sucks enough he could fall to a likely decentish team like the vikings or steelers as opposed to the jets, browns or cardinals

Money is money, but I really feel for Garrett.

I imagine in this era money is less important since they can make a lot in college now. I imagine it's also more emotionally fulfilling to do well in college vs suck in the nfl even with the bigger paycheck

Nah, he’ll still and up getting drafted high enough.

He would have a first round draft pick contract to go along with it though. Not declaring last year could end up being a huge mistake

Ngl I feel so vindicated after saying I don’t think he’s that good. And he was way overrated in the draft last year too. I do not trust Dante Moore and I’m taking my a victory lap rn
