I knew they were losing as soon as that happened.

It was the fail to recover muffed punt, 4th&9 conversion, and then fail to recover another fumble Texas drive that did it for me. The hooked FG was just comedic cinema at that point.

After the game was over, the first play I thought of was the 4th&9. That was horrible :)

Man, as soon as this went left I knew it was over. Texted my buddies and said the same thing. We’ve got a video of me reacting to the New Years Eve vs Georgia that went wide left and it’s absolutely classic 😂

For me it was when Day called his first time out. I knew it was time to play like a scared dummy at that point.

Ive see it play out too many times. I automatically knew that field goal was for game

I would’ve bet the house after that missed kick. A true Ohio masterclass choke job

Its funner when you read comments at the start of the game praising how they finally have a kicker now so they are unstoppable.

Beware friend, for the stain of bad kicking is on you as well.

hahaha, you are not entirely wrong. We were spoiled with Will Reichard for 5 years who was the best kicker in school history while also being with us for a really long time and was practically automatic, but we definitely have our fair share of kicking low lights.

Right now we have Talty, which is good but has some moments of inconsistency. Last season he was nicknamed Salty Talty because at the start of the season he whiffed a short field goal and proceeded to yell at the long snapper since the snap was high, despite the fact that the holder laid out a perfect hold for him regardless of the high snap. He settled in throughout the season and did solid after, but i cant say he is a repeat of Will Reichard.

That wasn’t a hook that was a straight pull lol. Would have missed on a double wide set of posts
