Arthur Smith brought some Falcons DNA with him, I guess.

I had forgotten that's where he ended up until it was mentioned during the game. I then expected some.dumb play calling later in the game. And I was right.

What a pair him and Ryan Day make. Whew.

That’s what happens when you look ahead to Kent State before the game is over

Well, yeah. They need to score a lot of points against weaker teams to make a strong statement and show off how talented they are.

Yeah, it's really going to hurt our rank struggling like this against (checks notes) the number 1 team in the country.

I work in a hangar with no air conditioning, in Texas. You adapt or you die. Home field is a big deal. I’m betting Texas sees OSU in the playoff. I’m also betting Texas wins again. Not because of heat-related fatigue, but because Texas is a better team that will only be tougher in December.

For sure. We can start with, when your QB hits you in the hands, catch the ball.

You think? Ohio state left 21 points off the board and you were just unlucky?

43

u/CzechHorns Texas Longhorns Sep 13 '26

Texas gave y’all 10 points of fluke plays in the fist 5 minutes.

Where exactly did OSU leave 21 points off?

-34

u/sumdude51 Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 13 '26

We drove the ball up and down the field on you for almost 3 quarters, we took three fgs and our coaches called it a day, but sure, go off king.

34

u/chapeauetrange Michigan Wolverines Sep 13 '26

Maybe the reason OSU kept attempting FGs was that the one time they went for it in Texas territory, they got stuffed?

And it's hard to deny that your defense was fortunate not to give up two long TDs in the first half.

Fortunate? What were archs numbers before the 4th quarter?

What were his numbers at the end of the game when Texas won?

OSU fans crack me up. So salty.

Congratulations on the win 👍😊

Yes, fortunate. Arch hit two open receivers in the hands deep in OSU territory — one in the endzone. One ended in a super improbable pick, the other was dropped.

13

u/chapeauetrange Michigan Wolverines Sep 13 '26

They'd have been a lot better if his WRs on those two deep balls had brought those passes in. OSU was very fortunate that Texas kept shooting itself in the foot offensively in the first half.

Yeah, we didn't have any drops. 🤔

I love how you just ignore the other part of their comment about Ohio State get stuffed when they tried to score the td lol.

What were archs numbers before the 4th quarter?

What exactly is your point here? Do you think you get credit for having a lead after the 3rd quarter? Man, so many people turn into illogical, grumpy dicks when their team loses, instead of just accepting it and moving on.

You lost. You won the first three quarters, but that doesn't matter because Texas won the game. That's it. That's all there is to it. Why do people like you turn into such jerks when their team loses? Either you're always an asshole, in which case you need help. Or you are immature and you let a game that you're literally not even a part of turn you into an asshole, in which case you still need help.

That’s called red zone defense bb, maybe you’ll learn about it someday

-2

u/sumdude51 Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 13 '26

Sounds like after 21 years you guys have at all figured out. Enjoy your championship 😊

4

u/w6750 Texas Longhorns Sep 13 '26

Thank you soooo much!!!❤️❤️❤️

7

u/Fun-Benefit116 Sep 13 '26

Lmao the classic, most pathetic of all coping "They didn't beat us, we beat ourselves" 😂

You "left points off the board" because Texas was better than you in those situations and stopped you.

but sure, go off king.

God I love when fans of the losing team are so angry that they become absolutely children. The best is when losers like you act like everything that went wrong for the other team is because your team earned it and made it happen, but everything that went wrong for your team is because you did it to yourselves and the opponent didn't actually earn any of it lmao.

15

Osu also got 10 points off some really unlucky Texas turnovers to start the game

-9

u/sumdude51 Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 13 '26

Turnovers are on the team who committed them, and you still have to convert them into points... Wtf is happening here, did you guys just start watching the sport? Mind - boggling

7

u/Dirk_Benedict UCLA Bruins Sep 13 '26

Please don't put in the newspaper that I got mad

2

u/ech01_ Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 13 '26

Eh both teams probably feel like they left points on the board
