That's for making us buy out Mark Stoops
1.8k u/legend023 Tulane Green Wave • LSU Tigers 28d ago Stoops would’ve went up 17-7, ran the ball for the rest of the game, and let A&M win 17-24. 524 u/walterdog12 Kentucky • North Dakota State 28d ago Genuinely, I think the biggest difference was that drive we got the field goal on. 1st and 10 we run the ball for 2 yards. Stoops ball would've ran it twice more up the middle, taken 3 minutes off the clock, and punted. Instead on 2nd and 8 Stein has the balls to throw and we get a 32 yard gain. 257 u/Greedy-Ad3227 Iowa State Cyclones 28d ago This is the best comment right here. I like underdog SEC football and I think this is totally correct. I hate to say it but old school Kentucky football would have let A&M slip in by being too conservative 66 u/phitsosting Kentucky Wildcats 28d ago It’s 110% true. Stoops played conservative with way too much time left. Stein was as conservative at the end but it made sense. 10 u/crispyg Kentucky • Vanderbilt 28d ago It was weird, we were always way to conservative under Stoops unless you're Mizzou and then we ball out for some reason 22 u/Panem-et-circenses25 Kentucky • Wayne State (MI) 28d ago That pass to Boyer WAS the game. HUGE 1 u/MikeOfAllPeople Kentucky Wildcats 28d ago This is not even an argument we've literally watched that for years. 1 u/thedillymane Louisville Cardinals 27d ago I miss yall having Stoops
