Honestly, yeah. People might point to this game as Indiana being overrated and maybe that ends up being true, but Northwestern put belt to ass on another P4 team already and played this game tough. They could just both be solid teams, which no one would have expected 5 years ago

5 years ago NU was a year removed from 2 appearances in the Big Ten championship game in 3 years.

Yeah people are really overplaying how bad of a program northwestern is. Have people just completely forgotten Fitzgerald’s tenure? There were bad years because It’s a development program so he could never count on just reloading, but they were routinely a competitive team and he won 8 or more games 6 times, and won 7 games during the Covid season in 2020.

Okay: Kentucky not turning to dogshit when Stoops left, SMU’s ability to very quick adapt from being nuked, Cal keeping JKS, Duke being competitive despite having their QB leave in two consecutive years, and Texas A&M being mid despite having a budget so large they could build a F-35
