Yeah I was about to say, I haven't seen a bunch of Cig's press conferences, but the quotes don't exactly sound calm. It's not like Sumrall is screaming at the reporters either. What I'm trying to say is: I'll take it
I knew he was serious when he pulled Faulkner. Every other Gator HC in the last decade plus has been tied to a big coordinator but never could land them. Sumrall closed with every staff hire and every attempt at retention from last year’s team.
Thats a fact. The passing game was so smooth and works because of Baugh. Those play action and options were so smooth and really something else to watch.
And if the D doesnt commit to stopping the run baugh and Clark are going to have career days.
He’s not wrong either, there was still lots of stuff where the Gators were hurting ourselves. Probably left 2 TDS worth of points out there and gave up some defense plays we should not have
Miss on the 4th down was a TD, holding on VB3 screen TD and the miss to VB3 on the wheel was also a TD. Granted we’re not going to hit everything but still it could’ve been another 21 pts
Love it. As a longtime coach, he probably feels some type of way having access to such a variety of talents at a school like at Florida. It's got to be unlike any squad he's ever coached. I can't imagine how it feels for him to be able to oversee a relatively straightforward win over a top 5 team. I love that for him. Hope he's our guy for the long-term.

“Coach you just beat the fucking brakes off of a Top 5 team, how do you feel?”
“We’re nowhere near good enough”
That’s my motherfucking coach man 🥹
