I was just hoping for at least a 60% pass completion rate on the season lmfao

A lot of us thought the offense had a chance to be much better, but this good is truly shocking

Agreed, I liked Faulkner, but I thought it would be a year 2-3 the offense really started humming.

Doubly-so given we had so many questions about our O-line you just couldn’t imagine this

Between Baugh and the receivers, it did feel like we had some elite skill weapons. But agreed, the OL was a big question mark and Philo as a first time starter was also not a given to be this good.

The components were all there, but Trautwein’s work with the OL has been awesome.

And while Philo has been good, he hasn’t been great, which is scary cause if he can take that next step, get all our receivers healthy, we could make some noise.

Our secondary is going to cost us some games unless something changes.

And I’m nervous of what happens when we run into someone that can stop the run and force philo to win in the air. But hell we are way ahead of my year 1 expectations. I had Auburn as close game that we’d probably lose and Ole Miss beating us pretty bad before the season started

  1. Fuck Billy.

  2. We should tip our hat to billy because Baugh, VB3, Wilson, Graham, and others are his boys and he made them Gators.

gonna go shower

Agreed, but Sumrall also had to convince Baugh to stay. Thank goodness he did.

I figured our offense would be improved, and in that sense I was right.

But ho-lee SHIT I did not see this coming

🙋‍♂️

And by this I am raising my hand as someone else who had no idea. Absolutely none. My hope was to look functional and stop playing to lose.

I'm so glad Sumrall got Baugh to stay
