Wait THAT'S what happened to Will Grier?

Yupppp. Our Strength and Conditioning was apparently shit, so he bought his own stuff and apparently popped for a banned substannce.

Then his dad demanded we allow him back the next year as unquestioned starting QB and Butterteeth McCarSalesman shockingly said no.

Look, far be it for me to defend ol’ butter teeth the shark enthusiast, but why on earth would Helicopter Parent Chad Grier look at Treon Harris and Luke Del Rio and think for even a second that Will wouldn’t easily win back the job?

Especially when Grier was gonna be suspended until week 6 of 2016. One thing If he’d be back week 1 but he wanted guaranteed starter status in week 6

None of these words are in the Bible

IDK man, I'm pretty sure Revelations said something about helicopters...

u/Jameis_Crab_Shack Florida Gators 20d ago

Same on the not wanting to defend a dude who lied about getting death threats from our fanbase.

But what coach wouldn’t tell helicopter parents to fuck off and that it’s their call who the starting QB for the football team is

“He’ll have an opportunity to compete to win the starting job back” is 100% the correct response

Treon Harris PTSD is real

u/mikapple Florida Gators 20d ago

Shark fucker should be sued for forcing us to watch Treon Harris lowlights all season

Dude had heart, but yeah, it was rough. BUT. He beat Georgia once. Therefore I like him a lot. Did he actually have anything to do with UF winning? No (he had less than 100 yards rushing and passing combined and went 3 for 6 lmao), but still.

Those “highlights” were so awful, they could have been used in Guantanamo for interrogation.

This was the same dumbass coach that let part of the team outsource their S&T to a felon private trainer that was previously arrested for peddling PEDs. McelShark was a fraud.

Wasn't it the same substance the Joakim Noah tested positive for after going back to Gainesville during the off-season?

9

u/rgb_panda Florida Gators 20d ago

I rememeber with Grier it was Ligandrol, there was a really long form news article about it

7

u/LunchboxSuperhero Georgia Bulldogs • UCF Knights 20d ago

Wikipedia says Ligandrol for Noah too.

Thanks again for taking Mike White off our hands.

Friendly reminder to everyone we’re the consensus #1 team in basketball next year. Thank you for coming to my TED talk

That's what he said happened. His dad was kind of shady, though, so I wouldn't be surprised if his dad was actually giving it to Will and blamed the coach to cover his tracks.

Regardless, that S&C program was awful.

I’ve always heard the rumor that he was actually suspended for coke, or at least popped for a popular masking agent for coke

9

u/ZealousidealType1144 Tulane Green Wave 20d ago

I heard that too, coke with Austin Hardin. Hardin missed a big kick in the SEC championship and I drunkenly told some 8 year old kid from Alabama to stay away from drugs so he doesn’t end up like him.

9

u/szboy422 Florida Gators • Blue Risk Alliance 20d ago

The GNC stuff got him suspended by the league, but being caught doing coke at parties got him kicked off the team

4

u/Kind_Sea7994 Florida Gators 20d ago

Twas not sexy Rexy doing coke as part of pre game prep?

Dude put on 40lbs+ of muscle in a year

2

u/kryptonyk Florida Gators • LSU Tigers 20d ago

But seriously why didn’t somebody get him some Crest white strips???

2

u/Toad-in-a-hole Florida Gators 20d ago

He was taking Ligondrol. Hardly performance enhancing but illegal none the less

Pretty neat, innit?

u/Gvillegator Florida Gators 20d ago

Yeah dude it ruined me senior year and I walked out of a class I almost didn’t pass because of attendance issues thus almost not graduating on time. Insane fallout from that shit although I was admittedly an idiot at the time.

No. Cocaine.
