our fanbase is conditioned to think we're complete shit right now but we look much more competent than the last couple years. The INTs need to stop though.

Joseph’s accuracy needs to improve, it’s been pathetic how many throws he’s missing

The defenses under Fickell have usually been decent-solid. It’s mainly the offense that’s dragged the team down

I agree. But at least it looks like we have a giy that won't let them get to him.

I don't mean this to come off as sour grapes, but I really don't think you guys are that much improved from last year. To be fair I also think your record last year was a little more horrific than your team actually was, but you guys did not really play well. Lots of costly penalties, 3 huge turnovers, I don't really think you guys got a ton more pressure on Becht than like Temple did for example.

We just played like complete shit

your flairs makes this impossible to take seriously, but just so you know we lost our Big Ten opener last year 27-10 at home Maryland.

I do get that but sometimes September Maryland comes for us all. You guys played some of the better teams closer than you "should have" last year with some of the bad teams you were losing to is my only point. I think people were acting like you guys were equivalent to a Rutgers or Purdue last year and while it definitely wasn't pretty I think Wisco going back to some of its more typical offensive identity earlier would have helped you guys a ton...

Also to be fair if your current QB doesn't throw 3 picks a game in B10 play and you guys clean up some of those penalties maybe you are significantly improved from last year, just based on what I watched on Saturday I don't think you guys put together a great product either.

I think your last paragraph and my initial post are almost the exact same statement.

We have been dogshit so us fans thinking that is expected. Youre acting like we've been tricked into thinking were bad when we aren't.

So you're saying we're conditioned to think we're bad because we have been bad? Do I have that right?
