Lane has won nothing as a head coach and will never.

He’s an above average offensive coordinator and a horrible human being who has somehow has gotten 90 million dollars off of 2 good wins in 16 years as head coach and still thinks he’s the smartest guy in the room

To be fair with that hit rate for the results he has, he might be.

I think he's a pretty good OC. He's just an above average HC.

I dunno. I remember a lot of people around me saying that about Nick Saban at Alabama during his first year or two. I live in AL. I think if you hate Lane now, you’re gonna hate him more in a year or two.

Lmao what makes you think Kiffin will have Saban's trajectory?

That’s an extreme I don’t believe, but Louisiana might be the best recruiting ground in the nation, albeit NIL changes things, but Lanes scheme works. Off he can do what he did with time at ole Miss, the ceiling is higher for him at LSU.

I got dawged around here for saying Saban would win a championship at Alabama after he lost the first SEC championship. The very next year, Natty. Same people said “gotta give it to you, you were right”, to which I said “and he’ll win a lot more”. “Nah lol” was the response to that.

The Nick Saban that had already won a Natty as hc by the time he was hired at Alabama?

If he isn’t the playoffs by next year lsu admin will dig through the drawer of scandals and start looking for “with cause” reasons to send him on his way.
