Kudos to you guys. Badass call by Stein.

Our coach punted.

Fucking kill me now.

Stoops would have punted

Yeah, I was shocked when they sent out the punting team. It especially made little sense since we had just drove the field for a TD on the previous drive.

I understand the analytics argument Silverfield made about it, but it was a total chickenshit call in the moment, and after a game where they'd won a ton of fans over, and everyone was on the edge of their seats, that one call brought the heavy boos and everyone hitting the exits.

This team deserves a much better coaching staff. Fuck.

Excellent B1G West Call. Too bad you're in the SEC rather than the B1G West

You guys could have been part of the fun, but what the absolute fuck was that playcalling after a momentum shift.

That was hard to watch

Our coach is a chickenshit. We went from everyone on the edges of their seats to heavy booing and people hitting the exits in a nanosecond.

Silverfield is another goddamn bust.

We had three effective running backs yesterday, who combined got 1 damn carry in the 4th quarter, while his Memphis transfer...the least effective of the four backs who played...got all of the carries in the 4th. And got stuffed over and over.

It's maddening.

3rd and 10 with less than 2 minutes left, and they run a fricking inside zone play with said Memphis transfer. The hell? I could understand a draw play there, or a screen of some sort, even a goddamn wishbone style option might have worked, but a fricking run up the middle? Jesus.

I don't think there's a single Hog fan who doesn't love and respect Sam Pittman, but it was time when support, attendance, and donations started dropping off. Now? Six games in people are wearing paper bags, and support has dropped even further.

Yesterday Silverfield had a chance to win back some support. A chance to build some momentum and give fans a little hope for the future...and he fucking chooses to wave a white flag instead.

It's FCM all over again, except FCM would have lost to Tulsa.

You won’t convince me that’s not because of the spread. Sports betting directly influenced a coaches decision to punt and not have Tennessee cover.
