Here’s the neat thing, there will be almost 0 repercussions and the refs won’t have to answer for it, and we’ll be talking about the same thing in a few weeks when SEC refs do it again

I’m on this soapbox after every game, both basketball and football: players and coaches are required to appear before the media no matter how tough a L

Meanwhile refs scurry off to their locker room and leave the stadium without having to answer to anyone.

They should be required to face the media just like everyone else.

Yeah that's the worst part. Seems to not matter that they can just mess up like that

Same crew from the Tennessee Texas game that the conference just had to issue a formal apology for.

It’s an injustice with no recourse, which is a microcosm of a lot of what’s going on with society today.

I seriously think these half-trained, underpaid, part-time college refs are crooked.

The greatest causes for fraud are opportunity and temptation, and with legalized gambling, the temptation is ultra high and the opportunities are aplenty.

Even if they don’t gamble directly, you can’t tell me these refs aren’t being propositioned by rich friends, wealthy donors, or organized crime.

Organized crime has been attacking our government benefit systems for years through elaborate schemes and sophisticated software, but they wouldn’t take a crack at a few part-time refs who control big money games?

I think about them like cops. You’re surrounded by the temptation of money and easy money at that. You’re also the ones with the power to get away with any wrongdoing. Many men fall victim to greed and the rest of us pay the price.
