Three consecutive one-score losses? Those are rookie numbers!

So what you're saying is, they're the best 1 win team in the country?

KSU has had a dreadful collapse compared to last season's success. Bears against all odds are still in the running for some small bowl game.

Don't know if I've ever seen targeting on a QB sneak
CUSA baby

Not a QB sneak, a QB KNEEL

I just woke up and saw this… did the penalty stand? I’m a bit conflicted on this cause like, yeah. I guess lead with helmet with principle contact to the head or neck area sure. But…. The qb took off like he was running, defender went for the hit, then the qb kneeled and put HIMSELF in that position?
I hate how targeting gets called on defenders when the offense lowers their body after the tackler is in their motion. That’s just my 2 cents

Yes it stood. It wasn't called on the field, but by the review booth. Also it was crown of the helmet, so didn't have anything to do with the state of the ball carrier.

I mean sure, but had the qb remained in a running position then he would have made contact around the abdomen and this wouldn’t be a conversation. I get the penalty, I get why the rule exists, and I get why it was called. But targeting doesn’t take into account the position of the offensive player when the defender begins their move vs when contact is made. I just feel like at some point the officials have to put some of the fault on the ball carrier for creating the contact that would not have occurred had they taken the hit instead of lowering their own head into it.
In short, my opinion is runner stays upright and takes a shot to the head? Targeting. Defender aims for the chest (like you’re taught) and the ball carrier drops 3 feet to take the contact to the head? Not targeting. Or at least, targeting on the offense. But that’s just my two cents.

Well based on the type of targeting they called, if he hit him in the chest, it would've still been targeting with the crown of the helmet. It's the defender ducking his head into the runner. The runner wasn't defenseless, so it's the bad form of the tackle that's the issue.

Kennesaw State can’t win a close game to save their life this year

Which is hilarious because we were 6-1 in one-score games last year

Hope we can beat Delaware next week. I'd like to get into a bowl game.

Averaging 10 penalties for over 90 yds a game outside of the GAST game. That is 2nd worst in FBS, just ahead of Syracuse. This team has no discipline.
You dont get your leading wide receiver a catch all game. The DBS are absolute buns especially #9.
The kicker apparently cant make a field goal past 35 and struggles with extra points. Three of which wouldve tied the last THREE games.
Man Odom was really the only reason we won at all last year.

That first half ending was fucking insane. Then the second half was penalty chaos

Jury's still out on Delaware, but it's really looking like we were the only FCS addition to CUSA with any consistent success

I'm starting to be convinced that Kennesaw State is the Nebraska of CUSA.

Kennesaw State goes spiraling back down to the bottom after getting their roster raided.

Other than the obvious (Cignetti working for Saban and beating Kennesaw State while at IU) what is the connection?
