I watched the Seahawks turn it over several times last night and it continued tonight with the Dawgs. Just... maybe need to give up sports for a bit.

We already knew that Purdue was much better than Minnesota, who in turn was better than Washington at Washington, so of course Washington would win comfortably at Purdue even with five turnovers

u/Future-Watercress829 Washington Huskies 17h ago
Washington brought a little Pac-12 After Dark magic with it.

I lost count, still waking up in Bangkok.
Does that 5 include the ball hitting our player on the kickoff/punt return? I wasn't sure if that counted as a turnover.

SICKOS! THIS IS NOT THE LAST GAME OF THE NIGHT!
Columbia at Penn was rain delayed by 90 minutes and so it is still on!
Penn leads 27-21 with 9 minutes remaining on ESPNU.
Penn was up 24-7 and has given up most of the lead.
TO THE GAME THREAD! AWAYYYYYY

We might’ve lost, but dang I felt hope in a close conference game again (execute Ryan Walters)

Walters defense was 1st in points allowed in the nation in 2021. What’d you do to break him.

It’s called incremental improvement and playing the long game. At this rate we will be 12-0 by 2035 right? RIGHT?

This team still sucks and I feel no different about anything beyond tonight but sometimes it’s nice to just see a win.
Also a 12 point conference road win is an actual milestone with how bad they’ve been under Fisch on the road.
Gg Purdue. Your team plays hard and I thought the crowd looked great. Good to see energy around the program. Keep your heads up!

I’ve met at least 1 person from Seattle who chose Purdue over UDub because Seattle was too overstimulating, which tells you everything you need to know about Purdue

Browne gave Purdue no chance tonight. His mechanics are dog water, and zero idea how to navigate a pocket.
1
u/WatchOutIGotYou Washington Huskies • Salad Bowl 18h ago
Browne wasn't bad until the last few minutes imo
0
u/lyme6483 BYU Cougars • Notre Dame Fighting Irish 18h ago
50% completion percentage basically all night, not a clue in the redzone, 1 throwing touchdown, and the list goes on.
He was ass and the biggest reason you won
0
u/WatchOutIGotYou Washington Huskies • Salad Bowl 18h ago
He did get them a scrambling TD in the redzone too. I'd say the Purdue lack of defense was the biggest reason Washington won.
0
u/lyme6483 BYU Cougars • Notre Dame Fighting Irish 18h ago
They created 5 TO. Your defense can’t be that bad doing that
0
u/WatchOutIGotYou Washington Huskies • Salad Bowl 18h ago
Nah, I'm saying that Purdue's defense was a turnstile and it was relatively easy for Washington to put up points and that was the biggest reason they won.
0
u/lyme6483 BYU Cougars • Notre Dame Fighting Irish 18h ago
Purdues defense creating 5 TO was not worse than Browne. Period. Full Stop
0
u/WatchOutIGotYou Washington Huskies • Salad Bowl 18h ago
"creating 5 TO"

We would be 5-1 or maybe 8-0 right now if brown was qb all year. Can't tell. Your lucky big10 boys
But seriously, I'm so happy to watch this team in the last 6 quarters vs what I watched all year before

u/JCAZ8749 15h ago
Infuriating as a Purdue fan. Two simple thoughts. 1. This team is not talented enough to overcome basic coaching deficiencies which happened again this evening. 2. The Zebras were BRUTAL on the Boilers which also didn’t help matters.
The idea that UW turned it over like they did and yet Purdue was largely unable to
capitalize falls squarely on the continuing, baffling selection of Josh H and Barry for allowing it to continue. Kane returns with the kids lost on assignment play. Washington fans are amazed at how this was a somewhat comfy win in the end and I don’t blame them in that they don’t watch Purdue consistently. Just infuriating.
