We might still beat you. Air Force is a terrible matchup for Paul Guenther's defense and NDSU ain't as good as the kool-aid drinkers would have you believe You'll see for yourselves in a few weeks.

The offense isn't great but the talent is there. This is still the same team that locked down NDSU and beat Cal. The consistency needs work though. On to the bye week.

NDSU's offense got bullied by the UNLV Defense. Air Force is a worse matchup for us. NDSU just isn't as good as the delulu Bison fans have convinced people they were.

Idk I’ve watched both teams games this year apart from week 1. NDSU looks way more consistent on both sides of the ball, but 3 interceptions and poor coaching will do that to ya.

UNLV made the Bison's offense look bad. The interceptions were the result of UNLV's bigger/faster/more athletic defense bullying the Bison offense. They didn't "beat themselves" like some Bison fans will have you believe they ran into a defense that had them figured out from the first snap and NDSU had no answers for them.
NDSU has beaten 1 good team all season, AF, and nobody else of note other than a very mediocre Wyoming team in Fargo.

It was definitely closer than you’re making it seem. I mean even with 3 interceptions they had more yards and more first downs, but UNLV’s defense did play very well. They also had the only offensive touchdown. If NDSU didn’t have a hyper aggressive coach that goes for it on every 4th down it’s very possible they come away with 2 more field goals and take it to OT.

Guess we'll never know. UNLV won the game that was played on the field, NDSU can have all the hypothetical victories their fanbase can simulate in their heads.

They’re definitely the better team, QB didn’t play well and coach made some poor calls on 4th down. They win that game 9 times out of 10

Spirit Cheese isn't an alumni thing lol. Somebody covering for the cadets. Alumni don't bring them in. All the cadet squadrons receive an allotment of burgers, hot dogs, and condiments for the tailgate, including Kraft Singles. So cadets pocket them to throw.

All this game is showing me is that our running offense isn’t up to MWC standards.
UNLV looks pedestrian on run defense today but could stop us at any attempt we had last weekend.

We have been recruiting G6 level players for a long time. Let’s not pretend we are the same at UNI or ISU-b. We won most of our games last year just based on having the better athletes. I genuinely think we are playing below our potential with some of the offensive scheming and play calling
Also our starting defense is legit one of the best in the country.

What a frustrating game to watch.
If I felt like UNLV was a better football team than us I wouldn’t be so upset by the loss last week but I just don’t see anything they’re better at… that was probably the most frustrating loss I’ve ever experienced as an NDSU fan

We played a horrible game. Hayes looked like the worst Qb in NDSU history. It had nothing to do with the opponent in front of us. It’s frustrating because NDSU wins that game 7/10 times. That was just one of the 3. It happens

Well GG Air Force. The MW is wild this season and with UNM still to play UNLV, NDSU, and Air Force its still anyones race. I expect all 4 teams to be in the running all the way up till the end of the season.
As of right now its UNLV > NDSU > Air Force > UNLV. We'll have to see what UNM adds to the mix over the next few months.
