That's more on Marsh than Hoover

Just a Purdue fan trying to make it sound as bad for IU as possible

I mean he’s wide open and Hoover puts the ball in a really precarious spot there.

Marsh might have been able to do better, sure, but the throw was poor

Completely disagree. Hoover made that a more difficult catch than it needed to be. There's nobody there, and he still throws it into the sideline when he should be leading Marsh away from the sideline, and because there was so much arc on the throw, Marsh had to spend an extra second tracking the ball in the air rather than tracking his positioning on the field.

He’s under pressure with a guy in his face and threw a ball that should be caught by Marsh 100% of the time with a foot inbounds

The throw by Hoover was harder to make than the catch from Marsh

If your QB cannot throw a few yards away from the sideline when there's absolutely nobody there, that is major cause for concern. It's an easy throw for a Big 10 QB

Look at the pressure.

I’m not saying it was a great throw. The throw and the catch had issues, but if I had to choose who made the bigger mistake— it was Marsh.

Hoover couldn't throw a pass all game. Marsh could have had better footwork, but Hoover was ass all day. He needs to be benched.

Absolutely not

That's more so on Hoover. Wide open receiver. Should have been an inside shoulder throw.

Should not have been outside on the baseline
