Would Mendoza have made the pass?

Yeah. But the team would have been up by two scores against THAT OSU defense. Hoover sucked for three quarters and you can't do that against good teams.

Idk if you can compare the level of bad QB play honestly. IUs defense is very good against immobile QBs so it was set up to have a pretty good game regardless. If Mendoza plays that OSU defense, we win by three scores. Was a weird one where everyone played pretty well outside of the two QBs lol.

Idk, they were both pretty bad. Hoover overthrew his receivers all game. If he’s a little more on target, we’re in a world of hurt

First of all, through God all things are possible.

Also yes.

As I was explaining to my kid today, not every QB is as good as Mendoza.

And that doesn't make them a garbage QB if they don't reach that standard.

To answer your question, of course Mendoza makes that pass, but he is off in the NFL now so we gotta deal with whatever Hoover is now.

Are we feeling any better if Sayin out against the Ducks?

If Baby Mahomes is starting, no.

I doubt he'll start. Something drastic would have to change. He's not even starting tonight against Nebraska
