Doesn't look like an overthrow to me, looks entirely like a WR with absolutely no positional awareness whatsoever.

He caught the ball then looked at the ground to see where he was on the field

The correct answer is it could have been a better ball and marsh could have done a better job on the sideline.

With the pressure on him it could not have been a better throw. The officiating was horrid but at least they genuinely called very little on both teams

I mean it could have if it was a foot more inside. It’s obviously more on marsh but if the throw is a foot more inside that doesn’t matter.

No the QB’s job in that moment is to just get the ball out of his hands and give the WR a chance. Thats was a dime. And if it weren’t for a hold that throw wouldn’t have gotten out of his hands

“A foot more inside” on a 45 yard throw, against the blitz, against a corner with inside leverage, and its fourth down. Shut the fuck up🙄

The corner with inside leverage is exactly why he was going there the whole way instead of trying to hit the dig. pre-snap the sluggo was the read and he was right. So yeah a foot more inside and they score.

Clueless and pretty nonchalant about it.
