From the post map interview this might be a coach/org gap. Also DSG not managing to fly out Smurf till after their season is over while NTMR got a whole bootcamp is hilarious

I think people need to realise how bad Scyle is playing in all the games and matches so far.
If u compare his doc ults to enemy doc ults in ANY match, he gets little to no dmg value, only overhealth, whereas most enemy doc ults chunks down half of DSG to half.
Not only that, specifically on the runasapi game, there was an engage where the cam was on his POV and he was healing kiwi walking to a health pack instead of smurf that was engaging (causing smurf to get demech'd) - terrible healing priority
There were moments on paraiso as well where he simply could have flew up to survive a dive (cam is on his pov and he did have infuse charge) but he just did a normal dash and died... like seriously what is he doing?
And before people say "PGE has X amount of deaths", have u ever considered that this is because he is not being properly supported by scyle? If u watch closely, everytime PGE survives a dive, it is because of kiwi either dragging him out on cat, or using cyberspace on him. Basically never has he gotten like a double infuse shot for example to be saved. I think this is proven even more on runasapi where PGE was actually getting kills, opening picks even, but was there a single doc ult that won a fight? He literally ulted AFTER smurf got demeched? His first ult was almost FIVE minutes into the game...
I think I've said enough, I really don't get why and how he is still on the team, this is just sad.
Edit: Just went back to rewatch. Scyle didn't even get his ult on lighthouse?? Scyle's ult on ilios well at 70%, what was that? Literally 0 dmg, fight was already won, imagine if they had it the fight after.
Also I see a lot of people blaming smurf. This goes back to my point on supporting PGE, maybe... just maybe smurf wasn't being properly cared for by scyle? Like first 2 maps kiwi was on cat and could help smurf more, and smurf played better (in comparison to the third map). On the third map, kiwi was on sombra, and helping dps a lot more (Ryan and PGE played A LOT better on third map) and smurf played worse because he only had scyle. Maybe... just maybe scyle is lacking...

Never let DSG pick Runisapi again, that’s the 2nd major lead blown on that map by them. Nice win for NTMR though, that makes their match vs Kafe tomorrow have more stakes than I expected it to have

3-0 as we all predicted.
Why did my Smurf look so bad ;;;;; lost map one for DSG and was a huge problem on map 3, map 2 was also kinda yikes. Strange match from him.
PGE maintains his trend this season of not being able to play hybrid, map 3 he looked really good.
Map 3 was maybe a macro issue and like idk what happened there they kept rushing overtime fights like they were the ones who were desperate and then when they actually were desperate it was too late.

I mean no excuse, but what I’m saying is that HAD to be an issue of rushing the fight or something. They had 50 meters to work with to get value and they acted like the already turned corner with Smurf behind and 90% purple for some reason was the time to use everything

They probably thought they could overwhelm them with ult advantage, and emp by itself is usually a fight win, but they didn’t get much follow up on the emp despite committing everything so it was worst case scenario.

Ya, they took the fight at just the worst place I think. They were fighting up to the bot, if they just let them reach checkpoint they get a better emp, a better doc ult that NTMR has to match and you can hold EMP to cancel, and a better OC angle for PGE, and if they lose that fight I think just boil them idk

It happened again… another insane push choke by DSG they had 5 ults only got 1 kill didn’t capitalize off a good emp from Kiwii just an unbelievable fumble. Really disappointing result from a team who looked genuinely good last week beating a top 4 team in NA historically they looked reinvegerated with additions of Smurf, Ryan, and now they lose to players they drop like Rokit, Lep who got insane hate on their team in previous stages, now this seems like a stage ending loss bc idk how they bounce back from a loss like that they needed to win this game to avoid relegation.

Ok so jokes aside, yeah DSG still sucks and are probably not making finals. I just want them to stay in the esport, its better to have teams like this for storylines and comebacks and stuff.
That said people aren't ready to hear this, but a lot of that was Smurfs fault. Ridiculous pushes on Illios second and third, a really bad Runisapi and that ending....like I hate to say it but he was not good.

Map 3 was definitely on him. Him taking that remech damage pretty much sealed the deal. The panic Mauga wasn't a good idea either

That last jab on de-mech’d painkiller on Runasapi high-key lost them the map. PK just re-upped in his face and NTMR cleaned him up and got a free 50m out of it in OT

DSG feels like watching the ultimates. They have a good roster, but there's a huge disconnect between players.

They have a terrible backline, a very irregular hitscan dps, a tank who still needs time to get back to form after two years without playing (and on high ping + has to play officials late at night) and a decent flex dps. The roster is not terrible on paper, but it's not good either. They really need a big upgrade on supports because Scyle had two decent series in the entire year and Kiwii is really meh.

Most notably Unkoe literally posted on Twitter that he played overwatch for the first time in months to say Hog wasn’t meta.
During the infamous season 3 Hog meta.
At the very least Zach asked to leave the team.

I played a little bit of ow recently for "FUN" :) I come back and the meta in ranked is Roadhog / Zarya. You guys still don't understand the game or what. Fcking Roadhog could fly, it wouldn't be the meta, use your brain, you can counter this sht with 10 different compositions.

He played well enough on Ilios to where after R1 the strat became “drop Dmon on his head every time they walk up”. Game 2 was just bad, his bastion has no hands. Game 3 him and Ryan were genuinely the only DSG players trying to win, support ults were just terrible and Smurf was hard gapped on Dmon every game.
