It can be both explicit and implied. But looking for ones that are explicitly about the midwest, the description, and such.

I've not really voiced any opinions after he passed, but I have enjoyed hearing all of the tributes, momories, anecdotes, and just plain tall tales about Mr. Paycheck. I was never a SUPERfan of his, but I DID enjoy many of his songs. Today I was straightening out CDs , tapes, records, and came across a greatest hits tape. I popped it in, and realized that the best song for me would need to be The Outlaw's Prayer.
I hope you all are doing well - We only have a little time here and I hope we can keep a little of the Lord and a little of Mr. Paycheck in our lives while we go about our days.

There are some heavy hitter names at the top but what is everyone’s thoughts here? How much would you pay to go to this?

“Lodi When” is one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever listened to. “Robot Killed the Working Man” brings a modern day example of that same working class protest music that made those like Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson such icons. “Plainsman”, “Lies”, and “You’ll Get By” continue the objectively fantastic work here in my opinion. regardless of what you think about the artist himself, this album is definitely worth your while to listen to all the way through.

Personally I am not a fan of this lineup at all. Would be interested to see what the country community thinks. Stella in that big of font??? Seems like every year especially since 2022 this festival talent wise keeps going downhill while other festivals seem to progress.
What’re your guys opinions and who do you like and not like!

What if each country music singers get one of the old country music singer and sing their songs as a tribute. Like Kathy Mattea sings Dolly Parton, or Luke Bryan sings George Jones.

I wanna hear y’all’s thoughts on Riley Green’s latest album now that it’s been out for a bit. What are your favorite songs, and which ones have grown on you the most? Do y’all think it’s one of his best projects yet?

TLDR: New to bluegrass, seeking more music like Allison Krauss + Union station. Reccomdations or sharing links to good playlists would be greatly appreciated.
….
Been an east tn native my whole life but only recently have I started appreciating more of the culture and music. Alison Krauss + Union Station’s live album completely changed me and now I can’t get enough but don’t know exactly where to look next. Theres such a big catalog of music in this genre stretching decades back.
I really like Allison Krauss, her soft voice matched with classic bluegrass melodies, I love a big string section…if anyone has any recommendations or a playlist on Spotify or Apple Music you would share, please let me know.
Edit: wow everyone is giving great recommendations and being so kind. Thank you guys, it’s so nice talking about this with people who truly love it.

I've been listening to more country recently, it's been hitting different since I'm going through a rough breakup with someone I really loved. If you guys know any songs/artists that'll help me through this, let me know!

Noem criticized Musgraves for appearing onstage with TX Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico, saying she'd pick Ella Langley over Musgraves any day. Notably, Langley seems to have untagged herself from Noem's post.

It can be any Artist, from any decade, it can be because of their music or their personality you just don't really like em.
Can't really think of any specific one currently, besides basic "Bro Country" but I can't even tell those guys apart much less remember their names.

I recently came across a video on tiktok of Dean Martin sing My Pony, My Rifle, and Me from the movie Rio Bravo and it’s been immediately added to my playlist. What are some of his best songs or albums? doesn’t have to be specifically Dean but anything with the chill vibe of a cowboy singing with his friends around a campfire or in a saloon like the song from the movie would be amazing (I know Dean isn’t strictly really too country other than some specific songs, that’s why i added that last part). Thanks!
