Philosophy, Ethics & Dharma "Doesn't your daughter not have any Hindu friends? Why is she with a Muslim boy" - Hindutva goons ask Hindu girl's parents during Dandiya Night.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

These goons never show up when it comes to demanding justice for Hindu Girls like Ankita Bhandari. And why are the police standing and not doing anything while propels liberties are being violated?

Translation: The girl requests them to not film her. The man with the camera says he will not film her but film the boy and the man on call. The man talking on the phone finds out the mother knows. He lectures her mother to not come to him if her daughter falls victim to Love Jihad.

The call is interrupted by another call. He says on the 2nd call that he has caught many non-Hindus. He tells the caller to stop the event. The girl is apologizing to the boy.

He continues the call. It is revealed that the boy is like her brother. The girl is insisting on not taking the boy to the police. The man then says that it is goddess's festival and they should not have sent a Muslim boy.

The man then calls the tent guy.

What misogyny? You want to have fun with your Muslim BF go ahead. A Hindu religious place is not for that.

Is moral policing legal or not?

Would you have similar attitude if a muslim girl is harassed for having a hindu boy as boyfriend?

In how many cases have they moral policed hindu men for having muslim GFs?

Any type of harassment or policing is wrong.

I asked how many cases?

In that case, you're supporting them so this attitude shouldn't change when it's about muslim women.

No survey no data collection. Why don’t you collect the data yourself? Or you trying to prove that your claim is the truth.

and how many Hindu boys having Muslim GFs do you see every Friday? You are only trying to defend yourself, and not seeing the full spectrum. When you lost with secularity, you went to moral policing, then to why not call police instead of parents. He is only preventing a future police case by calling the parents, and he's simply trying not to escalate the matter by contacting her parents instead of directly jumping to police.

and those of you arguing, why didn't he call the boys parents? well, do they have any problem with love jihad? the problem is always faced by the girl, so it's her parents who should be concerned.

Why not call police to get that man arrested?

What are parents going to do in this case?

There have been a case few days ago of a hindu guy beaten by muslims for having muslim gf but in comment section the guy was not blamed they didn't say "he deserved it" or "why date a muslim girl" like they usually do when girl is a victim.

You already said it yourself. They beat our boy when we do the same, and when they do it we are not even allowed to warn our girls? There are more Hindus here in reddit than Muslims, so you won't see "he deserved it" and "why date a Muslim girl" so often. They already did their part by beating the boy so cheers

These comments were not from muslims, extremist hindus say this...go check rw sub to see the nonsense they write about women when they're victims.

Both sides only find it problematic when women of their religion are involved with other men, they celebrate if men of their religion do the same.

If there are so many similarities atleast accept it.

Earlier you said that the guy was not blamed; no one wrote "he deserved it" etc. And now you are saying otherwise? I can't understand your argument sorry.

3

u/user0987777 9h ago

I'm not saying otherwise, I'm saying RW people say all this for female victims but when we reverse the situation they don't say the same.

No victim should be blamed, but in case of love jihad if a woman is killed she's mocked and slutshamed because "she forgot her limits"

I still don't get you, but this is my final.

Reversing the situation like what, for hindu boy and muslim girl? Why would they blame the boy for it? They surely caution him for being careful. Blame would be faced by the Muslim girl from her community.

No victim should be blamed. Yes, but only when the victim was forced. When the victim willingly took every step, every decision and got themselves into that situation, then they deserve the blame. And if they're denying it, they are only admitting that they were fools being driven by others all the way up to that point of crisis.

I don't know how difficult it is to understand crime happens because of criminals.

Women are killed by their boyfriends, people say it's her fault for having one. When they're in live in relationship, people say she shouldn't have been in that. When there's a husband and it's a dowry case, they blame for marrying a rich man so ofcourse here also they blame women for choosing man of another religion.

I understand pattern recognition and all but still blaming that person who's no more and was horribly killed for trusting the wrong partner is not at fault. People usually don't reveal their intentions in beginning so easily.

Here I'm not saying men are not blamed but the context was about women.
