u/Maleficent_Fox_9145 Sep 10 '26

I've just pictured Laura Linney's guardian character being Mr. Popo.

Ykw, not a terrible fancast for older lowk washed Ben 10

45

u/Respwn_546 Sep 09 '26

Not gonna lie, i would watch it, as long Is not another Ben 10 live action proyect that exist as money laundering

6

u/Rampagingflames Sep 10 '26

Im sorry, what!?

9

u/Respwn_546 Sep 10 '26

There are rumors that say the movie alien Swarm was used as money laundering because it had a budget of 40 million dollars and yet looked very cheap for it. Specially if you compare it with race against time with a budget of just 5 million

3

u/starm8526 Sep 10 '26

Huh, both sound much cheaper than I'd expect a ben 10 movie to cost

17

u/CryptographerMost883 Sep 09 '26

Ok but why is John actually a good base for making Rooks alien design practical

2

u/cNY433 23d ago

For some reason black people look good when playing as aliens

1

u/CryptographerMost883 23d ago

Finally someone says it. It’s so cool

10

u/confusing_roundabout Sep 09 '26

Ben 10 is the perfect franchise to do this with because I have childhood nostalgia for that world.

8

u/IndianGeniusGuy Sep 09 '26

Wait. That lowkey works.

8

u/LonelyChristmas21 Sep 10 '26

Surely it would be 'Plumbers' (2026)

189

u/Arelious2019 Sep 09 '26

Trend is dumb. Obviously they wouldn't be wearing the costumes. Come on people, details matter

61

u/Zunter_Hol0mon Sep 09 '26

Ok Reacher

17

u/TigerFisher_ Sep 09 '26

SherHulk Holmes

5

u/Zunter_Hol0mon Sep 09 '26

Oh, SheRHulk, I thought you were saying SheHulk. I was confused 😂

3

u/Zunter_Hol0mon Sep 09 '26

Que paso holmes?

148

u/BoisTR Sep 09 '26

I just think its funny that people were talking about this was the only Lanterns promo we had for so long and now this pic is back from the dead as a meme.

31

u/horse_stick Sep 09 '26

Reminds me of all the edits of that screenshot from the first Spider-Man 2 game teaser

121

u/baghead_22 Sep 09 '26

I find like 90% of them pretty funny, something about the base image itself is also pretty hilarious as well

136

u/Agentbrawn_the2nd Sep 09 '26

Just taking a stroll in the middle of the road

62

u/Zunter_Hol0mon Sep 09 '26

Truly they have no fear

3

u/Sawgon Sep 10 '26

I think it's also the added fact that Hal is looking directly at us

17

u/Glabsmaloglob Sep 10 '26

what makes it so funny is that nothing about the picture says “intergalactic space cops with flashy powers.” It’s just two dudes taking a stroll down the road.

74

u/IlSignorGranchio Sep 09 '26

Like every trend of a meme, is ripetitive, but I actually really like it especially when people use it to make edits without using AI, so i approve it

7

u/NuidisVulko Sep 09 '26

I agree, but I think “Bob” is AI

32

u/RepresentativeBid715 Sep 09 '26

Man somehow this show is just an endless meme machine for the Internet and honestly I'm all for it I think it's cool that we have (in the show) a very serious story and then you go online and are able to have a little bit of fun with certain aspects of it while still taking the show itself seriously

3

u/ArmandoGalvez Sep 10 '26

DC has been doing that recently with it's projects ( except supergirl), see Superman got a lot of material , my adventures with Superman was getting weekly memes every episode with the whole jimmy and Kara thing, and now lanterns is getting new stuff too, Marvel hasn't done that I lay with the latest spiderman movie, but check their movies and series , nobody cares about thunderbolts, F4 and Cap 4, X-Men 97 2 got dropped very quickly by the viewers, and Daredevil barely gave us stuff to laugh, Gunn understood the assignment I guess, let's see if Clayface had something too

2

u/BossChancellor Sep 18 '26

i have seen clayface it's really good, and while not overtly funny, i think the uncanny nature of certain scenes would make meme material

24

u/Zeoneko Boy Scout Forever Sep 09 '26

Okay but Robins sounds really cool

15

u/Master_Alligator896 Sep 09 '26

I mean we’re getting Dynamic Duos featuring two Robins so it’s not too far off reality.

25

u/CityHistorical3856 Sep 09 '26

Does lanterns only have one frame?

53

u/Zunter_Hol0mon Sep 09 '26

"Frames" (2026). What do you think about it?

u/BronzeSpearhead Sep 10 '26

Now hold on. The Teletubbies do kinda fit with the lantern corps! Lmao

1

u/UltHamBro Sep 12 '26

The oath being the Teletubbies theme would be so funny.

1

u/Turn_AX Sep 14 '26

Not even half, not quarter, this is quarter of a quarter assed.
Beautiful.

16

u/gr1mscr1be Sep 09 '26

My favorite part is, people are not only showing their appreciation for the show by being silly, but most of them are making these edits with bad photoshop and even MS Paint (or some equvalent), instead of AI slop.

2

u/ArmandoGalvez Sep 10 '26

WELCOME BACK BREAKING BAD!

10

u/Emperor_Atlas Sep 09 '26

My, Hal, you've enhanced yourself.

2

u/Zunter_Hol0mon Sep 09 '26

He "bubbled up"

10

u/Androktone Sep 09 '26

The AI ones suck, the ms paint ones always make me laugh

8

u/Inevitable-Age4867 Sep 10 '26

Thoughts on "Hearts" (2026)?

4

u/uncookednoodle69 Sep 09 '26

works best in r/dcallies

3

u/ArmandoGalvez Sep 10 '26

I've seen those memes for weeks in that places did the tred really came out of it? The schizo sub finally took off?

2

u/uncookednoodle69 Sep 10 '26

yeah that community really loved the alternate reality post. it’s weird seeing it outside of reddit now.

2

u/Excellent-Fig-9341 Sep 09 '26

I hate it cause it’s overflowing the dc allies thread

3

u/da_universe4 Sep 10 '26

I love it, just people drawing and doing photoshop edits. No AI bs.

3

u/Affectionate-Net9803 Sep 14 '26

Made this one myself 💀

2

u/ConsistentGuest7532 Sep 09 '26

Pink Aaron Pierre in the Bob one is hilarious

2

u/Capable_Salt_SD Sep 10 '26

You know what? I’d watch it

2

u/Shaggy_75 Sep 10 '26

I don't think it's funny but I don't have a problem with it

2

u/Myhtological Sep 12 '26

New meme I have to shoot.

2

u/CupOfWater0 Sep 12 '26

Someone should make a “Thoughts on Thots”?

2

u/Zelderp64 Sep 12 '26

Thoughts on "world" (2026)

2

u/Conyan51 Sep 12 '26

Ok but honestly I’d love a Robins series where Batman goes missing so Dick has to take over as Batman and continue Damian’s training.

2

u/ManyTraining6 27d ago

Spiders (2026) is perfect man

1

u/RipMcStudly Sep 09 '26

I’ve only got three thoughts left at this point, I’m not wasting them on this trend.

1

u/DemiAlabi Sep 09 '26

This is pretty funny. I would not understand if fans got upset.

1

u/Infinite_Peace_6456 Sep 09 '26

Dammit I was gonna make this post

11

u/Infinite_Peace_6456 Sep 09 '26

I made a photo of this

1

u/Zunter_Hol0mon Sep 09 '26

So many levels

1

u/Edenian_Prince Sep 09 '26

Robins would be quite cool actually

1

u/tsxnmi Sep 09 '26

Love it

1

u/wondercube Sep 09 '26

ok but now i need a Wonders show that focuses on the Wonder Girls

1

u/Vegetable-Fish464 Sep 09 '26

A show that focuses on wonderful women?? Man that's just my life

1

u/Lazy_Trust_2580 Sep 09 '26

A TV show with Tim Drake and Dick Grayson (or any duo of Robins) would be a hit.

1

u/ParkourNinja88 Sep 09 '26

The Flash One would be Called Speed!

1

u/Ocktohber Sep 09 '26

I think the internet causes brain damage

1

u/Clover_end9642 Look Up! Sep 09 '26

It technically should be Women

1

u/M_ia_Kha_lifa 13d ago

Thoughts on Women (2026)?

1

u/STICKGoat2571 Sep 10 '26

Hasn’t gotten old yet. To me at least.

1

u/Inevitable-Age4867 Sep 10 '26

Why is wonder girl accepting random hook ups from married old men on bars?
Seems off to me. But doing the gulliver on the island seems fare.

1

u/spaghettipizze Sep 10 '26

It's lazy like any other trend that people spam.

1

u/Big-Government-6249 Sep 10 '26

I actually really like the Spider-Man one lolol

1

u/SuicideSkwad Sep 10 '26

Ok but Robins with Dick and Tim? Yeah that’s the money

-1

u/[deleted] Sep 09 '26

[deleted]

4

u/MarvG05 Sep 09 '26

-2
