Deedlit, true classic

6

u/Hmsquid Wild Link 24d ago

Link is a hylian 🤬

2

u/ChandraNalaar4ever 24d ago

https://nintendo.fandom.com/wiki/Hylian According to Nintendo they are an elf-like species. That was enough for me to put Link on this list

2

u/HappyMaskSalesman13 24d ago

Fandom pages aren't really directly from Nintendo, they're typically just made by fans, like a fandom Wikipedia. Different games have mentioned Hylians being humans, both quotes from Zelda in Phantom Hourglass, and Demise in Skyward Sword

Fenris from Dragon Age 2, my beloved.

4

u/Kuukauris 24d ago

Vaelus from critical role 4. She hasn’t had much focus on her so far but hoo boy is she already my fictional crush.

A) Link is not an elf

B)

C) Shadowheart: “Half-elf, actually. I suppose the finer details are lost to a creature like you.”

u/BuckLuny 24d ago

Either Naestra or Arahan I can't choose. Both are incredibly cool.

2

u/ChandraNalaar4ever 24d ago

I am more of an Ork or Skaven person but they are badass

2

u/BuckLuny 24d ago

Undead -> Vampire counts -> Wood Elves -> Tomb kings of Khemri -> Empire of Man -> Grand Cathay

But you asked for elves.

2

u/ChandraNalaar4ever 24d ago

2

u/BuckLuny 24d ago

Yeah, GW doesn't want to sell me skaven. Sadly.

3

u/Enkundae 24d ago

Kerillian - Vermintide games

u/RangerStr 23d ago edited 23d ago

Don't like elves much, but i gotta admit, she'd be a great daughter

2

u/DoxlanRadiant 24d ago

I always forget Link counts as an elf too. I mean he's like a hyrulian or some shit but you know, i guess he's steel looking like one.

2

u/ChandraNalaar4ever 24d ago

Hylians are elf-likes, that was enough for me to put him on this list

2

u/jluub 24d ago

Are Hyruleans actually supposed to be elves or just humans with pointy ears?

4

u/ChandraNalaar4ever 24d ago

They are elf-like and that was enough for me to put Link on this list.

u/bobtheboii12 24d ago edited 24d ago

2

u/GiraffeWeevil 24d ago

Link ain't no Elf

7

u/ChandraNalaar4ever 24d ago

Hylians are elf-likes and that is enough for me. Also he is a snack

3

u/Battle_Axe_Jax 24d ago

I knew as soon as I saw Link there’d be one dweebus gettin salty about it

0

u/GiraffeWeevil 24d ago

Me dweebus. Why him elf?

1

u/Battle_Axe_Jax 23d ago

Pointy ears, lives in the woods, twinky.

-1

u/GiraffeWeevil 24d ago

The Kokiri are the elves and the Hylians are the humans.

-1

u/GiraffeWeevil 24d ago

Also, stop objectifying Link. He doesn't like it.

0

u/Plenty-Diver7590 24d ago

there’s more to elves then pointed ears (by your definition all but rito, zora, and goron are elves

0

u/HappyMaskSalesman13 24d ago

They act like this in Ocarina of Time, too🤣

1

u/Gingrish252 Aloy 24d ago

Kaysas offer is really tempting

2

u/h0neanias 24d ago

Yea, and Estinien from FFXIV is technically Elezen, but the morphology is clearly elven. You could as well protest Eldar, that's just splitting hairs.

-1

u/GiraffeWeevil 24d ago

leave his morphology out of this -- the guy's only eleven!
