Congratulations so did 10,000 other people who tried to post it on a reddit sports sub this week. With AI making coding easier, everyone and their mother made an app.

Its overwhelming to the sub and considered spam to post it. You will get an automatic ban for spamming.

📰News Harry Kane has now scored 102 goals in his first 100 Bundesliga appearances

100 Bundesliga games. 102 goals.

Kane joined Bayern at 30 and has still managed to average more than a goal per game across his first 100 league appearances in Germany.

At this point, where does he rank among the best strikers of his generation?

📰News Barcelona have won their first 9 LaLiga games for only the second time in competition history

Barcelona’s start to the 2026/27 LaLiga season:

9 games

9 wins

39 goals scored

9 conceded

\+30 goal difference

Only Real Madrid in 1968/69 had previously started a LaLiga season with nine consecutive wins.

Barcelona’s 39 goals are also the second-most ever after nine games, behind Sevilla’s 42 in 1940/41.

Their +30 goal difference equals the best ever after nine LaLiga matches, set by Real Madrid in 1987/88.

💬Discussion Anyone else go from a die-hard fan to just watching as a neutral?

• Upvotes

I used to be a huge football fan, really invested in my team and favorite players. A win or loss could literally make or break my day. But life got busy, and I stopped keeping up with the sport.

When I eventually got back into watching it, I realized I didn't have that same emotional attachment anymore. Now I just enjoy a good game without really caring who wins or loses.

Anyone else gone through this, where you just stop caring about any particular team or player?

For context, I wasn't supporting my local team. Football isn't big where I'm from, so that might have something to do with it.

💬Discussion What are some positive sentiments you have/ had about international leagues, no matter if true, outdated or completely wrong?

• Upvotes

When I grew up in the 90s/ early 00s (Germany) every major league had a specific image. Over the years, some have changed, some reinforced and others completely debunked.
I’d like to know what you guys grew up with or think today? And rather than hearing farmers league here or oil money there, let’s focus on positive things.
For me/ us it was always like this.

Serie A: Very tactical, defensive masterclass, difficult to score even for star strikers
Premier League: Lenient referees (Bundesliga coaches and players regularly mocked domestic referees saying “this wouldn’t be a foul in England”), high intensity, very physical, no diving
La Liga: Technical masterclass, flair, fast games and lots of goals
Ligue 1: Lots of talents, fantastic goals on Eurogoals on Eurosport
Bundesliga: We always took pride in our fan culture. How did the Bundesliga look to you?
Eredivise: Big stars at Ajax and PSV and later the talent factories
Portugal: Very technical, exciting south American players/ talents (how cool was Mario Jardel)
Special mention: Turkey and Norway. Champions League away matches were always considered tricky. You had to famously survive the first 20 minutes when playing in Istanbul because of the crazy atmosphere. If you were still the game it would cool down. Norway was tough in Winter.

Economics in football suggestions

• Upvotes

Hey all, looking at creating some articles and doing some writing around the economics in football

Just getting any and all suggestions of what people what be interested in reading about and knowing about

Can be as simple or in depth as you like I’m open to everything at this stage as it’ll most likely be blog posts and articles and a lot of them

Some examples of ideas I currently have are
Non league football and the bigger idiot theory

How money impacts development both from a parent and club level

Some future trends of football seen through economics

How club finances work differently between public and private owned clubs and different nations

The effects of different things within football at different levels ie player sell on clauses and cup fixtures

Any suggestion is welcome and appreciated

💬Discussion Should Rodri's Ballon d'Or be revoked if Man City are stripped of their titles?

Genuine question because I don't know how France Football handles these situations.

Trophies won during the season are obviously a huge factor in the voting. If City end up being stripped of their Premier League title retroactively, does France Football have any precedent or mechanism to revoke an award, or does winning the Euros alone keep his case solid?

Has anything like this ever happened before in football?

Thanks in advance

💬Discussion After this recent international window, which teams are the next surprise packages for 2030?

I understand that this community is kind of dead since the world cup came and passed but after seeing Norway and Cape Verde really impressed with their performances this year, I want to see which will be the next team to get the neutrals excited. At the moment, the teams I'm impressed by after the recent international window are Greece and Northern Ireland so what is everyone?

(I want to throw in Vietnam because I'm biased towards them but it's hard to say given we haven't been tested recently outside of Southeast Asia)

In Norway both viking and bodo are tied for the first with the same points, same wins, same draws and same losses, but the best part both have the same goal difference with the same goal scored and conceded.

How's position decided in this situation?

Can someone explain why PSG has never ever been investigated by Ligue 1 for breaking financial rules even though its clear to everyone that they absolutely did?

I mean, the whole league does not even bother to do any investigation to their finances and would rather let PSG win the league every single year for the past few years?

I mean PSG also was investigated by UEFA for breaching their UEFA financial rules as well.

Harry Kane reaches 57 Champions League goals and enters the all-time Top 10

Harry Kane’s brace against Viking took him to 57 Champions League goals, level with Thomas Müller.

He’s also now scored 36 Champions League goals since turning 30, surpassing Lionel Messi’s 35.

Kane has scored in nine consecutive Champions League appearances. How high can he realistically finish on the all-time list?

📰News Napoli: De Bruyne-Allegri Tension, Shouts and Gestures on the Pitch – Here's What Happened

https://www.gazzetta.it/en/football/teams/napoli/news/14-10-2026/allegri-de-bruyne-row-what-happened-and-what-was-said.shtml

"Max spent much of the first half shouting "Kevin, Kevin" to get the attention of his most talented player. He wanted more from him; he wanted him to drop deeper into a playmaking role to find new avenues of attack and free up McTominay closer to goal. But Kevin didn't respond, he didn't even turn to meet his manager's gaze"
