🍎: It wasn't a bad thing; she wanted me to get strong so I could protect them, just like she did.

Kris shoots Susie a cold look.

🍎: And what about the rest? Dess is back, Dad is alive, but he isn't!... I... I don't deserve this...
🍆: What?...
🍎: I don't deserve to be happy; I should be suffering... some kind of... punishment. I know the town hates me and all, but... it doesn't feel like enough. And now... the girls I like are asking me out?!...
🍆: Kris... I love you... we love you... I... I just want to see you happy...
A tear escapes Susie's eye and rolls down her left cheek.
🍎: ...What if... what if making the Angel vanish meant that people like me don't get punished, huh?... What if bad people like me never get what's coming to them again?... Is that okay with you?
Susie steps closer and grabs Kris by the arms.
🍆: YES! Because you aren't a BAD PERSON.
Tears—more tears than Susie's—stream from Kris. She can feel Kris leaning some of their weight onto her. Kris lets Susie pull them into a hug while dropping Rudy's old weapon.
❤️: "Ah... if there was one more thing that I wish I could have imparted before I was banished... it's that there's no such thing as bad people. There are simply people who have made mistakes, and their willingness to fix them or not. Even... Rudy (still surprised about that one) wasn't bad. Just made a collection of mistakes to cover up others instead of trying to actually fix things.
