Comment your guess and please spoiler-tag it.

This is inspired by one of the daily geography games on my website quizebra.com: NAME THE FLAG, which shows a zoomed in flag at the start which zooms out slowly over 20s. The faster you recognize the flag as it zooms out, the better your score. Who will be the 🌍DAILY GEOWHIZ🧙?

Trivia Tap every country with fewer than 10 people per km² (60 seconds, 3 lives)

Each day there’s one new geography category. Today it’s population density: there are 14 countries under 10 people per km². Tap them on the map or type them, against a 60-second timer with 3 wrong answers allowed. Everyone gets the same question, and there’s an optional leaderboard.

(It’s part of a bigger game I’m making where you draft countries into categories and see if your nation can conquer the world, if that’s your thing.)

Trivia Five new questions today on the daily pin-the-globe game, now with a link to read more after each answer

Thumbnail

A week ago I shared GeoWrecked Daily here. It is five geography and culture questions a day, each answered by putting a pin on a globe with no labels, with 20 seconds per question.

Two things are new. After each answer you get a link to the Wikipedia article behind the fact, and the result screen lists all five, so you can keep the tabs and read them later. On a phone you can now slide the question out of the way to see the whole globe, and the answer pin is no longer hidden behind the answer card.

Today's set includes a spa, a temple and two foods. It resets at 00:00 UTC.

Which question today was the hardest for you?

Super simple game concept.

2 game modes, daily and endless.

Game gives you a random city with a population of 10k or beyond, you try and guess the country it’s in.

Orange means right continent, red means incorrect, green means you got it.

Super simple, easy to play, daily changes every day. Would love to hear any criticism!

Trivia Play The states

My Kids and I have been working on PlayTheStates, a geography game where you jump from a plane, steer a parachuter toward a country or region, and answer a question after landing.

It has eight maps covering Asia, Africa, Europe, the USA, Canada, Central America, South America, and Australia/New Zealand.

You can play it in your browser here:
https://playthestates.itch.io/playthestates

I’d appreciate feedback from people who enjoy geography—especially on map accuracy, the questions, and whether the gameplay helps you learn locations. If you spot an error, please tell me which map and question.

you get one word at a time and have to name the country it points to. every wrong guess tells you whether you’re hot, warm or cold, and unlocks the next clue.
