Is there a way to tell the difference between the sounds of fireworks vs firearms?
Say for example, firecracker vs small handgun?

My judgement says no…but curious what you all think
Currently no one besides Savage manufactures a 7BC in left hand besides some freakishly expensive companies.
I am looking to build one for around 1500$
I currently hunt with a ROUGHTECH Tx3 .300
I have never built a bolt action.
I was wondering if anyone has a build sheet for something like this!
Ideally 16 ish inch barrel. I’m in the thick woods of north Idaho

I just got a can for my colt M4 22 LR , but the thread on the end of the barrel doesn’t match the GEM tech GM 22 can I just bought. Is there an adapter I can buy or do I need to switch out the barrel?

Yes, that Sig. I'm trying to find a handgun chambered in .45 acp that has a rail which will fit my laser / light (Streamlight TLR-8). I was looking at a Springfield XD 45 Compact but then I seen people complaining about it and I don't really know a whole lot about guns, so I haven't been able to find a good alternative. Ideally, I'd like it to be obtainable for around $500 but I'm open to going higher than that in case I decide to save up for a pricy one
Is it normal to get pretty hot after a few mins of use? It's not HOT HOT but very warm.

I already know about other brands like S&W but here in Honduras Only Taurus are available in the "revolver" category, and the crime rate here is pretty bad. I need a concealable little gun to use in my 5.11 pants pockets with my tactical knife.

Been dyeing a lot of PMAGs recently and it’s kinda become a hobby of its own.

Picked up an AR-9 very recently and can tell I'm going to be burning through some ammo with it. Just for range/practice use. Thanks!

The GP100 isnt named, but it seems odd to have it left over. It is one of the few revolvers good for uspsa anymore which may be why.

Is an 1853 Enfield musket rifle, recreated by Parker Hale, Birmingham England worth selling? The serial number is 3638. It’s in the original box.

This is a new to me Interarms Walther PPK/S .380. It has these very shallow scratches around the Interarms logo. Shallow enough I don't feel them with my fingernail. Can I safely polish this off without damaging the logo? Will it be an obnoxious amount of work for it to still look blended in with the rest of the slide?
Also, there's what looks like weld marks on both sides of the chamber, which can be seen on one side through the ejection port. Can I safely polish that as well? Should I?
Any advice is appreciated. I don't want to do anything stupid to it and make it look any worse.

Thinking about carrying .45 over pressured hollow points but I’d like to shoot some at the range to get a feel of the difference. I can only find hollow points which are obviously more expensive. Anyone know of any cheaper rounds I can use at the range?
I’m seeking real world reviews on the vortex defender enclosed models. I’ve heard both good and bad things but most are just from vortex glazers/haters. if you’ve actually OWNED this red dot pls let me know if it’s any good.
(ps it’s not for this gun it will be on a shield x for edc)
New Mac5k - finding a collapsible stock is proving to be a bitch, though. Any recommendations?

Ruger is Discontinuing a huge chunk of their legacy models. Most of their Revolvers, most of the PC series. My PC Carbine is a great gun. 9mm 16 barrel carbine that looks like a traditional hunting rifle, has a top and bottom pic rail, has great iron sights, takes down into 2, and takes glock mags. I mean there aren't really that many pickings there, at least aesthetically. It's nice to have the option to get a PCC that's not trying to be a mini ar or an mp5.
And Ruger is just gutting their revolver lines. Pretty soon the smith 642/442 will be the only real player in the conceal carry revolver market. With the LCR getting the axe, Smith will have no reason to keep making the bodyguard 38. I don't think other companies offer anything as light weight and in the same price class as the 642 except Ruger with the LCR.
Ig Ruger is just gonna sell LCP's, max 9s, securities,RXM's and mini 14's lol.

Flashlight has since been changed since this photo was taken. It’s now a surefire with a pressure pad.

Hello,
So I have a 9mm Taurus G2S that I customized with a new recoil spring etc etc.
I have two magazines. I have one filled with Hornady Critical Defense, and the other with Critical Duty.
It says in the manual that +P is okay in it. Not +P+ but the Hornady Critical duty +P is apparently okay.
For basic self defense walking around town most always.
I’d appreciate all of your input and suggestions if you have a moment.
Thank you!

Looking into purchasing my first hunting rifle this fall, I am planning on a Tikka T3x .308. I am in California and will mostly be doing public-land hunting for pigs and mule deer. Any recommendations for a scope that will have the appropriate magnification that won't break the bank?
