New Hires click here

This is going to be the new stickied post on the sub. With the influx of questions here from new hires, usually asking about the same thing. Ex: interviews, hiring, onboarding, pants, shoes, and more. I thought I would make a stickied thread for this.

I would also appreciate help from anyone if they can help search for good posts that would help new hires.

For the time being, please use the search function at the top of the page. I know Reddit's search function sucks.

Time elapsed from placing the order to consuming the entire burger: just 11 mins. Cost: $9.27 including tax (CA). No wait in line.

These are my favorite but the wait doesn’t fit into my lunch hour anymore.

It’s great to see this company thriving but if it’s 30 min plus. constantly I’m needing a new way to access the food that’s reasonable.

Board terms

I’m trying to get better at communicating with the board, so what are some terms that could help??
Stuff like ā€œdub withā€ so that I can easily communicate orders to them!!

Are we allowed to re-sort how the ingredients are stacked vertically on an in and out burger? I.e. request chopped chilies between the two patties in a double-double.

HOT TAKE: In-N-Out puts way too much lettuce.

For context, I used to work for the company for over 5 years and my go to order has always been a double double with grilled onions. Over the years, I started getting extra light lettuce and the burger has tasted so much better.

I'm even at the point now where I straight up get no lettuce entirely. I also not the biggest fan of lettuce but even when I liked it on my burger, I always ended up taking a good portion of it off of my burger. Also if you like taking your burgers togo, removing the lettuce can help mitigate that "soggy" feeling you get. Obviously the spread and tomatoes contribute to this as well but those are staples to a good burger that most people dont like removing.

Just thought I shared my opinion!

In N Out (Halloween Costume)

Hello everybody!
I’m a born-and-raised California native, currently attending school on the East Coast, and I have just about HAD IT with the In-N-Out slander out here.

For weeks, I’ve had to listen to people disrespect the greatest burger establishment known to mankind while shamelessly praising Shake Shack, Whataburger, and whatever other nonsense they consider a decent burger.

Frankly, I’ve had enough.

So, this Halloween, I’ve decided to take matters into my own hands. I’m going as an In-N-Out employee. It’s time to remind these East Coasters what real California culture looks like.

Here’s where I need your help:
I’m looking for an authentic In-N-Out uniform: shirt, hat, apron, name tag, whatever you’ve got!

If anyone has an old uniform they’re willing to sell, I would be more than happy to purchase it and cover shipping. Alternatively, if anyone would be gracious enough to lend me one for Halloween, I promise to take excellent care of it, cover shipping both ways, and return it promptly afterward. Happy to compensate you for the trouble as well!
For context, I’m a pretty tall guy (6’4ā€), so larger sizes would be especially appreciated.

I’m simply a homesick Californian trying to defend the honor of In-N-Out Burger behind enemy lines.
Thank you all in advance. You’d be doing a fellow Californian a tremendous service.

God bless California, and God bless whole grilled wrapped Flying Dutchman

Like I don't want to disappoint her because she took it and I just want to change it to an Arnold Palmer but I said a coke but I don't want her to be disappointed in me so will they tell her at the front if I ask?
