21 is the equivalent of 67 😭

no not really. 21 has a very clear origin and context. 67 is near meaningless.

The entire joke for both videos is that there is a funny looking kid responding with a stupid number

I swear I feel crazy but why are people acting like old memes were clever or even sensible, some dude said damn daniel and got on Ellen. 67 is deadass just a more nonsense 21 and the only real difference is that the 67 kid had scp edits made of him

I dont even think that the meme started with the 67 kid, I believe it comes from a song and the kid only appeared when the meme was already a thing. Also, I'm not saying that memes used to be clever in the past or whatever. I just think 67 is exceptionally random. How do you even explain what's funny about 67 to someone out of the loop? It's hardly possible. It's pretty easy with 21 however.

I mean, it comes from a song. So maybe 17-38 (from Fetty) is closer? Idk

Yeah maybe. Youre right that the origin is clear. But I think the difference is that the usage does not refer to anything that has to do with the origin, and makny people who are aware of 67 probably have no idea about the origin. It's pretty much entirely irrelevant for how the meme functions, and I think that is where the main difference with 21 lies.
