Question So... I've been watching some medical j-dramas on Netflix lately...
What if Asada Ryoutarou and Daimon Michiko get married and have a son, Tokai Seishirou, together?

Does anyone know where I can watch Haru: Sogo Shosha no Onna/ ハル ~総合商社の女~ with English subs please? Could only find episode 6 online 😭
I would genuinely do ANYTHING to watch Kaettekita zoyo! Kotaro wa Hitorigurashi( Kotaro Lives By Himself 2)
It’s literally nowhere to be found, and trust me, I’ve tried EVERYTHING. I even used a VPN to access Prime Video Japan, only to find out there were no English subtitles. 🥲
Please, if anyone knows where I can watch this with English subtitles, I’m begging you, help me out! 😭🙏 I just want to watch this show so badly!! 🥹
Edit: Found it, Thank you all.

I will genuinely do anything to see this drama once again. Life’s punchline was available on Netflix and was my comfort show, but it’s not there anymore, neither is it anywhere and trust me, I’ve tried everything. Through vpn I found it on TVer but there were no English captions. Please help me see it again. :(

Hi everyone, I heard recently the remark of Unnatural a Japanese drama into Korean is confirmed. Lim Yoona (GG)has been selected as the MC. My issue here is that Unnatural is such a great drama and I feel like Satomi Ishihara was born for that role😭 I love Yoona a huge fan since GG but then again deep down I don’t want any remakes for this drama it’s perfect the way it is ygm? Literally been a fan of Unnatural for 8 years since my teens, rewatched it soo many times, that’s how good it is. Even the OST, theme song and BGM are perfect. The theme song is one of the best ones I’ve heard so far, it worries me when it comes to the remakes they never have good musics as the original! It feels like a masterpiece is being shred apart and the worst part Kdramas are notoriously known for adding unnecessary romantic scenes! With all due respect I’ve watched lots of Japanese/Korean remakes (liked some and others were fine) BUT Unnatural should in my opinion stay UNTOUCHED🥲! Anyways I hope the Korean remake the best of luck and again this is my opinion so I hope no one takes offence to it! Anyone who’s watched Unnatural (Original) lmk ur thoughts xx

I know this drama came out in 2022, so some of you might have already watched it, but if you haven't, please add it to your watchlist!
I just finished it, and honestly, I didn't expect it to affect me this much. 😭 It's not just about scams and revenge. It also makes you think about justice, corruption, and how difficult it is for ordinary people to fight against those who have money and power.
I especially love the two leads and how differently they view justice. And that ending? It left me emotional and thinking about it long after I finished watching.
I won't spoil anything, but this is one of those dramas that reminds you why stories about justice still matter. It made me feel like there's still hope in this world, even when reality makes it hard to believe sometimes.
So yeah, if you're looking for a Japanese drama to watch, please give The Black Swindler a try!
Maybe I'm late to the party, but I just really want more people to discover this series. 🥹❤️
For those who've already watched it, what did you think of the ending?

are there any english subs out for VIVANT season 2? Was watching it on Netflix for S1 but seems like S2 is not out yet there... I saw a couple of AI translated subs for S2 but was wondering if there's any subs that are done up by people and thus preserving the nuances of the speech, or would I have to wait for Netflix to come out with S2?
Thank you

I've been a big fan of Japanese legal dramas and Black Trick is a good addition to this type of dramas. I really liked how the main character is portrayed in the drama. It perfectly captured the reality of our "honorable" politicians. They act like they own the people around them. Will Ep. 11 be the final episode?

As the title suggests, I am in search for some heartwarming, cozy ROM COMS like the 2023 live action adaptation of ao haru ride and romantics anonymous, and if you're familiar with Chinese dramas , I'm looking for something that has the same youthful and wholesome vibe as "when I fly towards you" and "always home", I always liked jdramas specifically for the hopeful vibes and awesome vibrant color-grading they often use from a cinematography point of view

Why is literally everything set in bloody Tokyo? I'm getting sick of it already. Apparently it's cause all the film companies are Tokyo based? I don't have anything against Tokyo, but it'd be nice if there was something set in a different city. As in not Kanto at all cause I think I'm getting a bit sick of how they talk and want to hear other accents to learn to differentiate them. I prefer watching like crime or mystery shows, I liked sins of kujo, 99.9 criminal lawyer, miu404, antihero, bayside shakedown, and gyakuren saiban, though that ones not a tv drama. I'll also watch other genres, this is just what I feel like watching more.

Seven simultaneous abductions strike seven Asian cities, throwing the global media into a frenzy. The victims' families receive a chilling ultimatum: ''How far are you willing to go? Only one can be saved.
A Japanese production with kidnappings in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines. Currently one episode a week on TVer (Japanese) and Viu (multi-language). I expect it will be streamed elsewhere - maybe after it finishes.
Really solid, very exciting first episode, excellent production values. Loved the atmosphere and different people kidnapped. I haven't read the book (no spoilers please) so I'm interested to see why those victims, why those cities.
