Is my set hand-carved?

Just got this used set. Wondering if it’s hand carved and if anyone has an idea as to its age?

Definitely hand-carved. You can see the shaky, uneven spacing on the circles and bamboo, and the varying lines of the different characters and the bird. Some kind of pantograph or other mechanism might've been used to copy the designs, but still mostly hand-carved.

Looks like a typical HK set from the 80s or so. Seeing the case and accessories would help with a better estimate.
